  • LEAD FREE: Shutoff valves are made of high-quality forged DZR brass with reinforced stainless steel that is lead free; all SharkBite pipe fittings meet the same standards for commercial and residential plumbing applications
  • CERTIFIED: Water valve coupling is rated to 200 degrees F and 250 PSI with 2K maximum burst

Simplify your plumbing and home improvement projects with our SharkBite Max brass push ball valves with FNPT connectors. Composed of strong and sturdy lead free DZR brass with a reinforced stainless-steel collar, these ball valves are a great way to easily transition from a female NPT threaded end to a PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or SDR-9 HDPE! SharkBite Max quick connector fittings are a project time and effort saver with less insertion force required for a stronger connection. Without the need for additional tools, glue, or soldering, these push fit ball valve couplings can be installed in wet lines and are approved for underground and behind-the-wall applications with no access panels (Wrapping required when burying underground). Very easy to use and very good quality. Lead-free and OK for potable water. I use it as a shut off for my whole house filter. Works great. No leaks. Be sure to take out the plastic PEX reinforcement piece if you use PVC or copper. It serves no purpose other than to reinforce the pex tubing and actually cause flow problems and leaks.

It's a nice product but .... I used these to replace old valves under my bathroom sink.I have PEX tubing coming up from the floor to the sink. The only negative thing about these valves is the fact that when u.mount them to the incoming PEX tubing , the handles point to the floor and i.preferbthstbthey point up. When I did the kitchen, which had leaked all over hell, ruining floors --- that's what started the valve replacement -- , I just bought a SharkBite adapter (female pipe) and attached it to the male end of a separate valve and put a male/male nipple on the female valve end. These ended up with the handle pointing up, which is what imprefer. I should have done the same thing in the bathroom but once I had the valves I just went ahead and installed them. One friend of mine said you can reverse the handles to your liking but that is not true.So be aware of this before you start.SharkBite are great!

I bought this for the low drain on my RV. Super easy to install and worked perfectly. Would definitely buy again.

I had mistakenly believed it was 3/4” pex fittings on both ends but it needs another male end and pex connection. Otherwise, this is very easy to install. I will use pipe thread to connect the brass ends and it will work great. Shark bite makes plumbing easy.

SharkBite fittings are the way to go. They work very well on copper and plastic pipe if you smooth the edges. I have never had one leak.

Works well. Takes a bit of effort to release the pex line. Been nice to close the valve and remove pex to flush the line.

It's a sharkbite. Not much more needs to be said. It's the original pushfit connector design and the best quality in my opinion. It's the only brand I use and I've never had a problem with them.

I have a 3/4” pec line which comes to a box for my in ground sprinkler system and I wanted the ball valve just for convenience of shutting off at this point.

I used this to install a new outdoor sill cock tap.Shark bite fitting pushes right on copper pipe (or Pex) without soldering and swivels like a union coupling.Threated valve end, screws right on to a sill cock.Valve can be used for a winter shutoff or future valve maintenance.Game changer.
