Saved me about $10 under what this would have cost me at Lowe's. Ran pvc plumbing when I set up my pool and needed a way to cut off water flow. These worked perfectly.

This PVC valve is very large and heavy. The ends securely fit four (4) inch PVC pipe. The ball valve is full port and has a very large handle. Based on the sheer size of this valve, the large handle is very hard to turn. This is true in both the open and the closed positions. While I believe that this valve will hold up for low pressure applications that don't require repeated on and off movements, I have doubts that this valve would last for any other use.
