We had always desired a high quality ice maker but was reluctant to spend over $1000 on a premium model. Ultimately, We settled for this commercial-grade ice maker, which has proven to be incredibly user-friendly and has quickly become a favorite in our home. The ice it produces is more than sufficient for my family of seven, leaving us with an abundance of ice cubes. While it doesn’t feature a separate freezer compartment, its insulation is highly effective, allowing ice cubes to be stored for over 12 hours without melting. It’s also worth noting that, as time passes, a small amount of condensation dripping from the drain pipe is a normal occurrence.

My son operates a snack bar at his university, and the existing ice maker was insufficient to meet the demand. Therefore, I decided to replace it with this new model. The new ice maker boasts a robust construction and is perfectly sized to fit within the snack bar’s limited space. The pipe connections are straightforward to set up, with the hoses and drain hose being sufficiently long to easily connect the drain to the floor drain. The control panel is user-friendly, and with a simple press of the ice-making button, it rapidly produces ice cubes of the perfect size. Additionally, I find the timer function particularly useful as it allows for automatic on and off operation, ensuring that there is always a full bucket of ice available. The ice cubes produced are very dense and, in fact, more durable than those from the old machine.
