This is very easy to set up. You only need to pay attention to which way you remove the filters, so you can take them out of their plastic bags, and then insert them back the same way they came out. Then plug in and you're ready to go. Ours hasn't shown any real difference in air quality, except when my husband made dinner. Not a knock towards his cooking either, lol, but I guess it can "smell"/sense the aroma in the air and takes it as an "odor" that needs to be removed, so the number will go down until the air quality has "returned" to 100 again. It didn't take long, maybe an hour tops. I got this specifically to help us with the pet smell in our home. We have dogs and cats, and they outnumber the humans that live here, so when I come home I can just smell them, and not the clean home smell, that I'd prefer. We only had this running for a day but we had gone on a day trip as a family and when we got home I just came in without thinking, bc I'd kinda forgotten wed gotten this for a minute... Anyway, I later asked my son if he smelled the usual pet odors when we walked in and he said he couldn't recall exactly, but it didn't seem to be there, or at least not as bad. I thought the same thing. I didn't see how it could work that fast, but I swear I wasn't hit in the face with the "oh they have pets" smell I usually am greeted with upon returning home. So maybe it does work that fast? It's been running non-stop now for 10 days without any major issues. I did find the unit turned off just the other day, but I don't know if someone turned it off (unlikely, but I can't say for 100%) or if it just turned off for some reason.🤷🏼‍♀️ We will be keeping an eye on it. But in the past 10 days I do feel like it has removed the pet odor from our home, or at least significantly lessened it. Our air quality was actually pretty good, I guess, it's just the odors...and that has improved for sure! I'm so happy with this unit and I plan to keep it going as long as they keep making the filters for me to change out every 3-6 months. (What it states in the manual. Each person's mileage may vary.) When something works, why change it? So this will be a permanent fixture, as far as I'm concerned. I highly recommend this unit to others also. We've had so many different, very expensive, to mid-range units, and they clean the air, but none have done for odors what this one has! I'm super impressed!! If you have pets, you need this unit! I'll update this review should anything happen to changed my rating.I almost forgot to mention this, but they make their box with perferated circles you can punch out and then your kitty has a box to play in! I thought that was really nice. Our cat likes to check out every Amazon box that comes in our home to see if it's the right fit for her, lol. She was thrilled with this one!! Even the cats that don't really care one way or the other about boxes, have enjoyed some time playing in this one. Just a thoughtful way to give something to the customer instead of trash, imo.

I am really impressed by this air purifier. Admittedly I have only had one other air purifier and that was several years ago. From what I can recall it was decent but didn't wow me. This air purifier is WOW material!! I have two kitties, one of whom is 22lbs and very furry; his brother is not as big but has hyperthyroidism which causes him to shed a lot more than is typical for the average cat so I am constantly sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, etc. Obviously that is the reason I was so interested in this product. It arrived quickly and was packaged very well and the box even had little perforated circles so it could be reused for your animals to inspect and play in...very clever! The instructions for setup and operation were very straightforward and it took mere minutes to get going. It comes with both filters needed for operation which have a life span of 2,000 hours each. Accessing the filters is very easy and takes seconds to do. There is a decent size, very clear, digital display screen that has a lighted border which alerts you to both your PM2 value percentage and air quality, (85%-100%=Green=Excellent, 70%-84%=Yellow=Good, 0%-69%=Red=Severe). The display also shows all of the current settings of the air purifier. I am not sure exactly how heavy it is, but it is very easy to carry, particularly because it has handles on the sides but heavy enough that it won't tip over should your pet rub up against it. There are 4 fan speeds, each of which are very efficient and super quiet even at the highest speed, and it is incredible how well it captures loose fur. I positioned mine near an area that tends to collect dust bunnies and left it on Auto Mode overnight, in the morning I noticed that the dust bunnies were gone...unbelievable! Heapets really thought of everything, they even made sure to use a power cord that is wrapped in a nylon material to prevent it from getting chewed through by your furbabies. This really is a very impressive product, extremely well-made and performs above and beyond my expectations. I absolutely recommend this air purifier to anyone who deals with pets who shed or for those whose spaces fill up with dust quickly...it is well worth the price.
