I replaced two broken springs with these four. In less than a couple years of light use, the tension is pretty much gone and I’m back to almost a dead lift. The second stage of ramp will no longer fold up by itself (extensions were added to keep the additional spring out of the tail light). The only good thing is that they didn’t break!

These springs are very low quality. I installed them and dropped my trailer gate to see how they work and they were so strong it wouldn't touch the ground unless I stood on it but as I lifted the gate back up I realized the springs had bent over so there was a bunch of slop in them so I shimmed them to get rid of the slop and tried lowering and lifting back up again and same thing happened, a bunch of slop so I gave up and left it like that and the gate still won't touch the ground unless I'm standing on it.
