Model is not to scale to the average male. Seems about 30% smaller - my guess is they did this to save money on mold and material costs but I can't say for sure. Good solid part otherwise, just wish it was realistic size considering it's advertised as a 'male' pelvis.

It says in the description that it comes with a detailed guide. It came with a slip of paper with a QR code. I hoped that the code would take me to a guide, but it is generic to all the products offered. The box wasn't even marked for Male Pelvis or Female Pelvis. Considering I bought 1 of each that presents a problem. I am using this for a Forensics class, and I do not have a strong background in anatomy, so not having the bones marked definitively, really makes it difficult to use. When you explore all the links, you can find one that has a chart of the bones, but that is not clearly marked. I thought there would be a chart in the box that I could laminate. And that the box would say male or female or have something in the box that states what product is in the box.

It’s not a life sized male pelvis, kind like a pelvis from a boy, but definitely not adult male pelvis

this is not a life size replica of a male pelvis, unless the male is a child. It's too small for real life representation and was not suitable for teaching purposes requiring and adult pelvis. Item was returned.
