Great just the job for cutting fine electronics wire but be warned not to try anything too thick or tougher than copper , silver or perhaps gold.

I’ve had the same metal clippers for 15 years, I decided to treat myself to a new pair. I bought these, $50, and I barely used them and they broke! I had only cut 21 gauge Sterling wire a few times, then I was clipping some easy sheet solder and THEY BROKEReturned!

I bought a pair of Lindstrom 7190 cutters last June 2020. I have only used them a few times until February 202I when I was cutting a 1mm silver speaker cable. During this the cutter face snapped off. I have written to the manufacturer but so far I have not had a response. I am very disappointed that such a brand I once held in high esteem does not bother to get back to me. When I bought these I thought that these cutters would last a lifetime not just 8 months with very light use.

I have owned a couple of the Lindstom 7190 cutters and have been very pleased. However, the last two I purchased have been disappointments. They do not cut 0.019 in accu-flex wire at the end tips of the cutters, which is necessary for what I do. These are labeled "Lindstrom" in pale gray as apposed to black labeling on previous cutters.

When I received it I was doubt if it works since it is so small. I tried it out and it was very sharp and could cut my 16gauge wire easily!!!

I start to replace all my middle quality tools (bost, magnusson) by the highest quality I can afford. This is an expensive tool, but at least it is made in Europe. In addition it is possible to get some information on the manufacturer website, which is, in my opinion, a great thing.Even if it is a good tool, be careful with the metalic parts. When I say be careful, it mean store this tool in a perfectly dry environment. I use this tools for my hobby which is electronics. My working and storage places are located in my flat with 60% of humidity at 20°C. I can see some small points appearing from the surface of this tool, nothing to worry about, but think to use a proper grease with this tools and store it in a dry place.Excepted for the verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyy small problem of rust (I am a perfectionist), this is the first time in my life I have a tool with this cutting quality. Really, if you need to use this kind of tools, for e.g. cutting some pins, just buy it.I have downloaded three images, on the close up you can see the very small amount of rust. On the others images you can see the quality of the tool and the parallelism of the cutting edges. It is a nice work !Sorry for my English, I am a french person which try to do his best in writing.

I use the cutter to remove diamonds and colored stones from gold jewelry. The sharp points let me snip prongs without damaging the stones. With all the work I do I wear them out within one month but they are the best cutters I have found.

Fantastic product and well worth the money. A workman is only as good as his tools and these are good.
