I am powerfully sorry that I bought six of these to control the environment of my home and office. They require contact with the Resideo server, without which they are useless. Honeywell/Resideo cannot keep their server up to save their lives. A week doesn't go by without a server problem. When this happens, you cannot control the thermometers from their crummy app. I have to get in my car and drive to the office to manually set them. I HATE THESE THINGS!

with prime 2 day shipping, it took 4 days for me to receive this. strike 1.install was a piece of cake, followed the included directions and it wasn't too tough. downloaded the app to finish setup and after allowing all the unnecessary permissions, "this unit is already registered to another account". so now i can't control the stupid thing through the app. i will have to take time to contact the manufacturer to find out what is wrong with their firmware. strike 2manually turn on the heat and it doesn't appear that the furnace burners are turning on. i'm in no mood to try and troubleshoot this thing right now. if i end up getting exemplary tech support, perhaps i will change my star rating.

Nothing to dislike. Great thermostat that was very easy to install. No need for a professional. The Wi-Fi is going to make it easy to use when away.

Really like using these thermostats. Ended up buying multiple of these to use on both floors of the house. And bought another one to use in a small trailer home. They are very nice looking on the wall as well

Since all I had to do was pop this into my existing Honeywell slot there was zero work required. I love the app and the ability to control the thermostat from anywhere in the world, and I love the geofencing that automatically regulates the temperature if I leave my area.I have one wish, please allow me to set a desired temperature and not have to change the mode. It's 2023, why do I have to change it from cool to hot if I want my house to always be the same temperature?!
