Yes, ECPPP recommends replacing all componentsof the timing system at the same time. The useof worn sprockets may cause the chain to fail tomesh with the worn sprockets, resulting in poorengine performance.

Awesome price, awesome product. Had some parts left over that weren't for my vehicle (it fits more than just mine). But other than that, everything went great and no more timing chain noise!

I'm just sorry for you if you need to replace this part. Jeeze what a pain that was. Go ahead and order your oil pump, water pump, clutch, air filter, oil filter, serpentine belt, a couple of tubes of Grey RTV (the front/back covers and oil pan don't have gaskets), thermostat, and a haynes manual. You're gonna be removing and/or have easy access to all these parts, might as well replace them while you've got the oil pan and transmission off. Also make sure you have a tiny torque wrench, There's 30-40 bolts that require a torque of 89 IN lbs. (not ft lb)
