Fit is perfect on Classic model. those who say the head doesnt fit must look up the exact head on the LP website. There is a PDF list of all the models and parts. Galaxy and other heads take different heads.

I searched several items on line before deciding on this one, I needed a quinto head, not a conga head, not sure how this happened, but its not worth spending more money to send it back to get the correct size, so I guess I'll just hold on to it in case my conga head goes bad. Disappointed.
