Very nice. Small, it's so lightweight that with all the cables attached the device just sits behind my desk suspended by cables. I use the wired remote to switch devices. You can't even see it. Great if you are working from home and want to switch over to your personal machine throughout the day.USB ports are nice to share devices between PCs. I have a camera, wireless mouse and keyboard, and a headset attached to mine. I never have an issue switching back and forth. If you decide not to use it as a KVM switch you can use it as a USB hub. Pretty cool for the money.

This product worked fine for the first 6 weeks, then it started to have a connection outage hiccup of 1 second every 4 hours. I'm only sharing a simple USB headphone-microphone set, keyboard, mouse, plus HDMI. All USB devices are shared via a USB hub with its own dedicate power, meaning the only power the KVM is needed to draw is from the HDMI connections.I cannot get ahold of tech support. Losing 1 second every 4 hours might not sound like much, but if it's a live conference call related to work, and the most critical piece of the conversation you need to hear is lost during that one second, then this makes a difference. And because this problem only started happening to me at the 6 week point, it is too late for me to get a refund or exchange via Amazon.Do yourself a favor, and pay the extra money for a slightly more expensive KVM that has its own dedicate 5-15V power (requires extra plug in your AC power). Definitely worth the extra cost to not have a 1 second outage every 4 hours.

I have owned several brand-name KVMs in the past, so I have a reference point for this. This is my first HDMI KVM, though.Pros:It works. A button will switch between 2 HDMI inputs to a single display.Cons:It's barebones and not terribly compatible. I tried one DP->HDMI converter with it (one of the two PCs has only DP ports), and the input was totally corrupted. I tried a different converter, and it worked. Both converters work fine when plugged in directly to a monitor. It does not seem to emulate a display or input on the unswitched PC, AFAIK. I think when you press the button, it just disconnects the inputs/display from one computer and connects them to the other, causing the computer to trigger disconnection warning sounds and actions.I didn't test for HDMI audio switching because I use analog speakers, so I had to make my own simple mixer to mix the two computers to a single output, which then connects to my speakers. This KVM does not include any ability to switch analog audio, which is understandable but is still a downside IMO.There are also no hotkey controls. You must press the button on the KVM box. Not a big problem for me, but I did kind of like the convenience of pressing a few keys on the keyboard to switch back and forth.Clearly this is a cheap, barebones Chinese-produced KVM. If you look around, you will find numerous KVMs with similar or identical designs at different, arbitrary price points. However, it's a decent price at around $20 if it works for you. The brand-name KVMs are generally much more expensive.
