Julep strainers are great for the original purpose, holding the ice back while you're sipping a cool drink.Some of my glasses are smaller, vintage pieces, so only a small strainer would fit and this is it. Solid, beautiful, great little decoration on them.My ONLY knock at a 5 star rating is the price is triple most julep strainers. But if you need it to fit a smaller glass this definitely fits the bill.

A little smaller than expected, and it doesn't lock well into my (inexpensive, but straight-sided) mixing glass. Does the job, though, and it looks very nice and is obviously solid and well-made.
