I would recommend this door knob for its quality and it definitely met our need. Wish it could have been dark brown but we painted it ! Very satisfied! Value for the money !

This is a very simple switch out for an exiting handle and lock combo that has worn out. All you need is a phillips head screw driver and a wrench. Make sure you save the old parts because there is a piece on the new set that you'll need to adjust based on your existing door.

I already had the holes drilled so the installation was quick. It works well on our 1” storm door. It’s worth the $35 I paid and a nice upgrade to the cheap flimsy one that it replaced. It’s nice to have the ability to lock the storm door for those nights away from home.

With the hardware supplied unfortunately will not work on storm doors 1 3/4 or 2 inch thick. I had to get longer screws in a specialized place.Product was expensive. A new storm door is $400 and just the handle represents 25 % of the cost.
