This thing is absolutely what I needed. I have so many cables that hang off my desk. When I’m using it as a standing desk the cables just look horrible. This thing corrects that and makes every nice, tidy, and functional. Great product.

well made snake raceway!!! I am using this to manage a power cord for a portable electric fridge freezer on a slide.

I have been really impressed with this product. I was able to fit a dozen or so cables through it easily. It comes with all the fixtures and tools you'll need. The little clips are super durable. Not sure what kind of plastic they are but I must've opened and closed them all 10 times as I worked out my cabling setup and none of them got weaker or broke or anything. I had one plug that was a little too big to fit through the hole (they warn you about that in the description, so you know before you buy) so I just used velcro to attach it to the outside of the chain and that worked fine for me. If you're wondering what size the hole is, a DVI video cable connector is just a tiny bit too wide. I really was impressed that most of my power plugs could fit through. All in all, this is 100% the way to go for wiring up a standing desk properly. Completely worth the money.

This thing is smaller than it looks in the pictures. You can fit about four or five cables in the raceway part, but there's a bottleneck at the halfway point where you have to insert cables through. The bottleneck has two glaring issues: 1. this means you need access to the end of all the cables you're managing (you can't load them into this while they're connected and if you have a really long cable like you might have for ethernet, you'll have to thread the *whole* thing through) 2. the bottleneck runs out of space fast (so the order you insert things matter -- insert the power cord first) and it doesn't have room for large connectors. You cannot get a 90-degree power connector through it, which is a problem since every power strip these days has a 90-degree power connector. You probably can't get a bulky regular power connector through either -- no heavy-duty 5-15 plugs like on an extension cord, just the lightweight ones that would be on a computer power connector or lightweight surge protector.Another problem is that the teeth that snap into place to hold the cables are pretty much one time use. It's possible (but very tedious) to use a small flathead screwdriver to pop them all out if you want to re-wire, but they're fragile and you'll destroy a couple in the process. But it works. If you only have a couple cables (one power, one ethernet) and you're never going to move the desk anywhere else or switch devices, it gets the job done. It looks tidy. It maintains a smooth bend as you raise and lower the desk. So get it, because there's nothing else that comes close at this point. But I'm really looking forward to the 2.0 version or a competitor's improved knockoff.

This flex chain raceway works great with Vari height adjustable standing desks. It allows the desk to be raised and lowered without an ugly cable dangling and being the center of attention. It tucks it neatly to a side. The opening in the middle of the flex chain is a little small so power plugs cannot fit through it, but you can simply loop around it (see photos). The magnets are a genius feature. Because of the magnets, I was able to attach the flex chain directly to my Vari desk without needing to use nails or adhesive. I simply attached the flex chain using the built-in magnets to the metal leg of my Vari desk (see photos).Quality Clever seems to be the only company making this thing. They have my full support! Again, this flex chain raceway is great!

this "desk cord drag-chain" is the most well thought out there is, bar none. it is evident that the designer/manufacturer has taken substantial effort to cycle through the possibilities of general nuances this product will encounter, covering the details both of function, and the user installation and use. I'll bet that you'll not again see a set of instructions as detailed anytime soon, if ever... and I'm equally as certain that only few will appreciate it as most will just purchase a "similar" product based solely on price and then struggle (and spend more time and money) thereafter "making it work". if this the solution you're after, be wise and spend a bit more here... you'll not regret it! that said, there are ways to make it even better, but they are minimal to mention here... the main point of this review is to homage to those that took their time for the craft, rather than just pure profit! I hope you're reading this...

This was designed for large desks. Desks where the middle support and the back half of the desk is deep. If you have a C shaped desk, this will not work for you, unless you're comfortable having the cords routed to the front of your desk. I put mine in the back and it kept hitting the wall. This was also designed for thin flexible cables. I tried it with my thick 8k braided HDMI cables and they didn't do great. They kept popping the latches open. It also had an issue with fitting all my cables. It was a small track that when stuffed completely made it's bending capabilities not work. I had to take off some latches to allow for space to bend a little. The next issue was the fact that you are required to disconnect all cables to string it through the middle vertebrae. The middle vertebrae is a solid piece which makes this a pretty permanent piece once installed. It's difficult to take it out.The good thing I liked was the magnetic latches. They were pretty strong and had double loose magnetic cabinet latches to prevent it from falling off (however my magnet unscrewed itself but I think that was because of the tight situation it was in). Either way they had protective film to prevent damage from your desk, and it's definitely going to need it.Everything is made from a sturdy plastic which is really nice. However the latches make it hard to install as there are so many of them
