This adapter makes it VERY easy to swap out sanding and surface conditioning discs on my side grinder. I mounted a 3" Rocloc backing plate to the adapter, then attached the adapter to the side grinder's spindle.Now I can change discs in seconds, and it's relatively easy to remove the adapter and install other types of attachments as needed. I'm using my side grinder for a lot more projects now.

Only used the bottom part of the set to raise the cut-off wheels to the center of guard. Well made, very good quality.Used with Festool cordless angle grinder AGC 18.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet. But it sure looks well made. In fact, mine looked like a piece of jewelry. YES, its that nice! Great workmanship! The photo on Amazon, doesnt do it any justice. I would definitely buy another one.

It's been reliable for the last 30 days with a few hours of use per week. It might stand up to daily professional use as well. It is meant to mount a 3" disc so there is not that much torque on it. Well worth the money when you consider that 3M charges MORE than $20 for a single Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip XT Pro Disc. I bought this converter, a CrossArctic disc holder for $10 and 25 Benchmark strip discs for $30. That is a $55 total but that would have only gotten me 2 Scotchbrite discs.All products mentioned were purchased on AMAZON, the greatest market on earth.
