I have not been able to install it just yet, I'll update the review if anything changes after install (its going in the main shower of our cabin build), but just looking at the product and comparing it to whats on offer at other big box stores, and I have to say the quality looks very good. Metal is a good thinckness and looks like it would hold up to everyday use. THe instructions do have some slight errors that you often get from Chinese products that are translated in china instead of from a US company, but is sufficiently clear enough for a profesional or competent DIY'er to install.) I like that the cover is reversable, so you can either use the cover as is or flip it around and swap the spacers around and install tile in it to make it more of a hidden drain.As for Maintenance, It is designed in a way that the cover can easily be lifted out with anything that you can pry down in the space ( like a flat head screw driver for example) and then have easy access to the strainer inside for cleaning hair and other stuff that could clog the drain. Otherwise there is minimal maintenance once installed.At the price listed at time of this review, it looks to be an excellent value for the money compared to the big box stores.

The 24-inch linear shower drain is made from stainless steel and feels solid and well-built. The matte black finish looks modern and fits nicely in a variety of bathroom styles. The adjustable feet help with leveling during installation, which is useful since proper alignment is important. The 2-in-1 tile insert panel allows the drain to blend in with surrounding tiles, making it less noticeable. Installation requires some care, but overall it functions well to drain water efficiently without clogging.

Sleek matte black finish adds a modern touch to the bathroom. The 2-in-1 tile insert panel is a nice design feature, and the adjustable feet made installation easier. Made from sturdy stainless steel, it drains well and includes a hair strainer that helps keep things clean. Great balance of style and function.

Excellent build quality with stainless metal and heavy duty , came with hair catcher , multiple options for installing on 1sr floor or 2nd floor . Will make your drain look a lot more professional as in a high end hotel ! Very good value for money and works well to hide it with a tile over it as an option or leave it stainless . Complex installation though , see install procedure photo. Will definitely need a plumber . Easy to clean with lifting hook and fit.

Good drainage system. We are having a new shower installed, and this was very easy to install, and it drains so well. It also has a hair catcher, which is perfect, so it doesn't clog and is easy to remove and wash away. It was simple to install and we were just replacing an old old.

I appreciate the design and build quality of this drain. As a fabricator with many years experience working on both government and civilian contracts, I see the folded and pressed edges, the fine welds, the pitched to drain trough (ensuring that ALL the water drains properly,) and even finish as proof that the manufacturer cared to make this as good as possible while still keeping it affordable. The hidden hair strainer fits snug; as it should. The reversable tray/cover is a great feature allowing for unlimited customization during or after installation. The manufacturer included two extra clips for the tray/cover just in case. The threaded PVC adapter is A nice inclusion. It's fantastic that the drain has adjustable feet since the installer may not know measurements such as the thickness of the sloped and finished floor (i.e.: many times the finish, such as tile, is not selected prior to rough in and secondary sealing.) The little hook makes it easy to remove the tray/cover for cleaning. Although a Really handy home owner could conceivably install this with the kineda' good instructions provided, I'd only recommend it for experienced pros.

The build quality on this drain feels very good, and it levels nicely. The drain does not come with a flange, but that is a small issue, as flanges are pretty inexpensive to buy at home improvement stores. I like that there is a removable hair catcher. I've never had one with this feature before, so I'm excited that I don't need to snake my drain to remove that stuff. Drains with no problem, and looks nice with the stainless side showing. We have thought about putting the matching tile on the drain, but haven't decided yet whether we are going to do that. Pretty good price, but would be better if it came with the flange, like most drains do.
