This powerful laser is much more than I thought when purchasing. The beam is a much thicker longer extending laser than the cheap cat chasers you buy. It's much larger and much stronger. The green light reaches all the way across our 3 acre lot. This is not for younger kids to mess around with because you don't want this thing pointed anywhere near anyone's face or eyes. This is not a pet toy. It's a very strong laser pointer that can be used for larger projects like presentations or outdoor science adventures. If you know exactly what you're getting, you'll love these. 5 stars.

One of the lasers came with the charging port dislodged to one side. With a bit of effort, I was able to force it back into its proper place. Charges normally now but the laser stopped working, ordered a replacement. Other than that, they work fine. Very bright.Update: The broken laser was very promptly replaced with no issues.

Larger than I'd expected for not including a generic flashlight. Instead, it's just a really powerful laser pointer. It has a small screw in adapter than creates the patterns if you want, else keep it off (and likely lose it) for just the bright green beam. It's nice that it is rechargeable, though I would have expected at least a single white LED to allow use as a flashlight since you're already having to carry something the size and feel of a flashlight.

These are much better lasers than I thought they were gonna be. First off, these are much stronger than your average cat toy or presentation laser. Don't recommend using it for that. These are more suitable for light shows with the included filters or just shining on the ground in your backyard to see how bright it is.Do NOT shine these in the sky. I cannot repeat the importance of that. They are powerful enough to cause damage to people's eyes or cause temporary blindness and Im just gonna leave it at that. Don't get yourself in trouble. All that being said, these are not the uber powerful 2 watt (2000mW) burning lasers that can burn paper and pop balloons and all that fun stuff. I do have one of those and those you absolutely must wear glasses with. The beam on my 2w blue laser is much thicker than this one. I've included a picture to show the difference. These are still less than 5mW but probably right there at the limit at like 4.9mW.These can be of fun if you do it right. Definitely don't let kids hold them. Also the light itself is not heavy duty aluminum like more expensive quality lights are but it's not bad. You also can't unscrew and replace the battery like an 18650 or something. These are sealed and probably have a 16350 or something like that inside. You can charge with usb C.

First, the good: You get two of these laser pointers for under fifty dollars. They're pretty well built, with an aluminum alloy casing, which also makes them lightweight. They do have a nice bright point that is easily seen, even in a brightly lit room. There's an attachment that comes on the end of the laser, which can be screwed off, which makes a cool light show by turning the attachment in either direction. It's pretty nice. Useless, mostly, but amusing, nonetheless. There aren't any negatives to this item except for one, which I took off stars for: There are laser pointers that are bright enough that you can see the actual beam itself in a lit room or even outside in the daytime. There's a sweet spot for lasers, around 35mW, where they have this ability without being dangerous or too hot. The pictures in this listing show (or represent) this laser as having that ability. Unless it's nighttime outside, or you're in a dark room, with this laser, it is not possible to see the laser beam itself, just the green dot wherever you point the laser. That can be done with a less expensive red laser. Green lasers are cool because they're so much brighter than red lasers, allowing you to see a laser beam. I was hoping to be able to do that with this pointer in relatively bright spaces, but you can't, so I feel that it was a bit misrepresented. Still a good item and a good value, but be aware of what you're purchasing, since the listing gives no indication of laser strength, usually measured in 'mW'.THIS LASER WOULD PROBABLY BE GRADED AROUND 5mW.Works great as a regular pointer for presentations, etc. 3.5 Stars.
