Nothing much to say. I bought some years ago and they held up well to my figure skating falls 3 days a week. The fabric eventually got some holes and they didn't look great, but even when slightly compressed after all these years, they protected me pretty well. It was only once I started doing bigger jumps that I realized I needed a fresh pair to offer more protection. They're great, especially for things like figure skating and dance because they're so low profile that they don't ruin your line.(fyi: they feel REALLY snug, or even too tight at first, even if you got the right size, but they acquire 'give' pretty quickly after being taken for a spin.)

These pads are comfortable and the hex design stretches really well. The sizing chart is pretty accurate, though the first couple times I put them on they felt tight. I use the pads for volleyball and they work OK. If you drop to your knees quickly you'll feel it through the padding as the padding is spread further apart when the fabric is stretched.After using them twice a week for 6-8 weeks mine started to wear through the thin stretch fabric and eventually burned right through on a slide (see pics); now I have a quarter-size floor burn on my knee. Overall they have worked well and I like the flexibility of them, but will probably look for something more sturdy next time around. As shin or elbow pads they'd be great.

These knee guards work wonderfully. My husband wears them all day long under his work pants. They stay in place, they are comfortable to wear, and they last at least six months of heavy duty wear. We have ordered this brand more than once because we know the quality is good, and you can't beat the price.

I am a pole dancer & instructor, and these are my favorite non-pole related knee pads. I’ve been using them for about 8 years and have probably made one pair last me 2 to 3 years depending on my consistency. My only gripe is that McDavid never responded to my email asking politely if they’d ever consider making them in different skin tones, as black and white stand out, and I would rather have them blend in with my skin. I KNOW IM NOT ALONE IN THIS. Take a freaking hint McDavid, don’t you want to widen your market? Make more money? I love the Hex pads because they are flexible and offer a greater range of movement than just one pad that gets flat in one place over time. The other thing I like is how non BULKY they look! So many knee pads are huge and ugly. anyway, these are great. I just wish they came in skin tone colors.

Not sure how to rate this product. I have very muscular legs for a woman so I went with a size large. Should’ve done xl. Definitely protects your knees. I used this for my firefighter academy. We spent countless hours crawling around. Only thing I really didn’t like was that fabric above and below the pad was very smooth therefore with movement it rolled itself down putting a lot of pressure around the back of my knee and quadricep. Still wore them though.

I ordered a size medium for my 13 year-old and it was too small. I should have measured her knee first. These only last a few months before my girls get holes in them from playing basketball.

UPDATE: Really disappointed to see it only took one tough practice to completely shred one of the pads. I wear a pad only on one knee so I still had a brand new one once the first had worn out. Unfortunately, after only one practice, the new pad was completely torn apart. The fabric had tons of holes and rips and the hex pads were falling out. Would not recommend AT ALL!I've been playing volleyball in these knee pads for about 2 months now. They have been through a fair amount of diving and contact with the court. I am disappointed to see that the pads have developed holes in the outer layer of fabric. While playing on both hardwood and plastic surfaces, the pads have slid okay but have not held up as I hoped they would. The holes started showing up after only 3-4 uses in matches and practices. I have been able to continue wearing the pads even with the holes and they still serve their purpose. They do better on hardwood but still developed holes. These pads are SUPER comfortable though. After wearing them for about 10-15 minutes, I barely even know they're there. The hex pattern of the pads makes them really flexible and they stay in position fairly well. They compression is comfortable (if fit using the sizing chart) and the pads stay in place pretty well. I would recommend them for someone who is not going to be having a ton of contact with the ground and needs lightweight and comfortable pads. For more durability and strength, I would look elsewhere.

Quasi mi sfregavo le mani ipotizzando un clamoroso ritardo nella consegna con l'idea di mettere una recensione negativa :-)). E invece come sempre Amazon si è dimostrata impeccabile. Ordinati la mattina e arrivati il giorno dopo esatto come previsto con corriere DHL.Il prodotto è perfetto, originale ed ha un'ottima vestibilità e leggerezza. Mio figlio le usa per giocare a Basket e proteggersi le ginocchia. Hanno la scritta dietro, così si stacca più difficilmente.Niente da aggiungere.

Muy cómodas realmente, después de un rato ya ni las sientes el padding esta grueso, se sienten bien las compre de mi talla y sin problemas las compré para mountains bike quizá no sea lo mejor pero ayudan bastante ya tuve una caída y sin problema,Tampoco es que haga enduro pero son perfectas para cross country caminos técnicos , raíces y piedras , te dan una sensacoin de seguridad, recomendadisimos.

Las queremos para nuestra hija que juega al baloncesto para evitar rasponazos y golpes en las rodillas. Pedimos otras más baratas pero las devolvimos porque éstas son de mucha mejor calidad y no hay tanta diferencia de precio. Buena compra.
