I read the pile of positive reviews and bit the bullet on the high price.It is astounding how nice it is to have a small circuit board anchored firmly for micro soldering, with no damage to the microscopic components.Sometimes in life, you find something you will need to always have moving forward.I am done dealing with alligator clips and other cheap solutions for holding PCBs for rework.Pay up or suffer in ignorance!

I solder small electronic boards from time to time and I finally decided to get something to hold the boards steady. This is pricey but prob one of the best decisions I made. It’s very nice, premium, heavy, and very easy to use.It made my soldering jobs less difficult and more precise.

What more is there to say it works as intended without a fail! Amazing for small boards but definitely not for big ones! It helps a ton and doesn’t mess up my microscope when I put slight pressure on the board like those cheap clamps do!

Ich benutze den Schraubstock für Platinen bis zur Größe „DIN A6“. Die Platine wird sehr sicher und fest gehalten. Der Anpressdruck kann über die sehr wertige Rändelschraube eingestellt werden. Die Platine wird durch zwei große „U-Scheiben“ aus „Gummi“ gehalten und wird nicht beschädigt (keine Kratzer auf Leiterbahnen)

My wife got this for me as a Christmas gift. I do a lot of electronic repairs. The small form factor and heavy weight make this an ideal product for assisting in repairs. There is a rubber gasket to help prevent damaging pcb's. The metal construction is beautiful, yet still can take the abuse from rework station heat. (I also love the "gear shift" style aesthetics.) Hakko made another great one!
