Picked these up to try and find a rocker shoe with enough width (4E) and volume for my carbon fiber inserts and prescription orthotics. These fit the bill, being able to accommodate both and affording a decent amount of lateral stability compared to others. Most importantly, I can get the carbon plates and orthotics into these and still get a decent heel lock without having to ratchet down the laces. I other words, the depth in the heel is great as well s the amount of cushion in the heel stay. I wish more shoes had a similar build to afford such a great fit in the heel when custom orthotics and such are in the mix.That said, the toe box could be a bit wider up front, like a more natural foot shape (and ideally a straighter last on the outside of the mid foot. The New Balance Kaiha Road feels better in the lateral mid foot area, and is cushy, but lacks the lateral stability that this shoe provides). The heel could be more stable laterally, but it's better than a host of others I have tried and checks all the major boxes for my needs. e.g., The Hoka Bondi 8 is more stable laterally, but lacks the heel lock with the carbon plate and orthotics in the mix.

I've probably owned over 30 pairs of New Balance shoes in my life. These are the first pair I have a complaint about. They fit fine, are comfortable and I like the look. But, the construction is awful! The top two eyelets on the right side ripped out after a couple months. Clearly either poorly designed, inferior materials, or defective. Awful!

Huge comfort. I got the 7-X wide specifically for running purpose and have used it for other work outs too. Light weight and feels comfortable.

Los tenis son espectaculares, muy bien hechos , son muy cómodos , muy ligeros , a pesar de que tengo el pie ancho no fue necesario comprarlos Wide , sufro mucho con los tenis y estos se llevan a todos en comodidad !!
