I brought this to a workshop a few days ago, eager to use it. Only 4 stars because once it is all the way expanded, it is not as stable as I would like it. The narrow bottom part of the cups go toward each other- sort of pigeon toed, instead of up straight. A bit wobbly but It did not tip over though. Also, even after practicing at home, I found it difficult to collapse; really had to work at it and manipulate it for longer than I was comfortable with. I have a collapsible microwave popcorn popper and you just have to give it an easy push. This works better opening and closing if you don’t expand it the full height but then that defeats the purpose for a having a larger water source to work with.

Nice and sturdy vessel. Convenient for travel or for saving space when stored away. Nice to have the two sides so you can have your clean water and rinse water, both, for convenience.

My girlfriend and I get together every week to paint and when it’s her turn to host I like to be able to travel to her house with all my painting supplies as light as possible. it’s great to be able to collapse this double well rinse cup and take it along because it is lightweight. You should be careful when lifting the cup when it is full of water as it is very flexible. But it works perfectly as a rinse cup with two wells, which I prefer. I would recommend this rinse cup

I took this with me on vacation last month and was very pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and convenient it worked!! I definitely recommend it highly!!

I hesitated buying this water container, but I wish I hadn’t! It’s great! It holds a bunch of water, and I love the two separate sides - that’s a must for me. Depending on how my shoulders feel, sometimes I don’t want to reach up as high to rinse — I can lower it by not extending it all the way! Perfect! This has become my go-to water pot for watercolor painting.

I love that I can make it different depths and you have a hole so you can attach it via the keychain it comes with to your bag if you like. I have loved everything I have purchased from Kristy Rice. It is made a very solid silicone so it’s sturdy and will last. Having two separated sides means you can have a place for your clean and dirty water which is a huge plus. It will stain over time but that was expected. It looks beautiful in your painting space.and adds practical whimsy. The price is a bit high so I pondered if it was worth it but having used it for so long now it’s become my all the time water bowl. Easy to fill and clean and easy to take with if I want to. Your paying for quality its sturdy and solid and easy to pop up and down. My partner was hesitant but when he saw it he ordered one for himself for his workshop (there was no way I was letting him use mine I would never get it back). If you’re on the fence I would say go for it. It fills lots of needs and will last.

Let me preface this by saying this was a purchase I did NOT expect to be making. I'd been looking at collapsible cups and such for on-the-go use, but none had really won me over. Had a few in my wishlist for future consideration, but thats as far as I got. So imagine my surprise when not only did Kristy announce a collapsible travel painters pot, but it's also happened to be incredibly gorgeous!!!I gotta admit, in my excitement I didn't really look at the product dimensions, so I was expecting a much smaller product than I got. That one's on me for not doing my due diligence. However, I'm not complaining! I was concerned the size would make it more likely to tip over when opened to the max, but I've had no such issues. For a collapsible cup it is wonderfully sturdy. I set it on my bed to test if it would tip over and it did not!! Even when fully extended and full of water it held up steady to my movements. Mind, I didn't exactly get up and jump on the bed, but I did move around quite a bit. My biggest concern was actually the water sloshing out of the cups with my movements and not the cup itself tipping over. The cups hold a nice amount of water, and are easy enough to wash, dry, and collapse. While I don't know that I'll be taking it traveling with me yet (I do hope to travel with it in the future) it's a great addition for anyone who has limited storage or space. The collapsibility of the cup allows for it to be used to different heights. I fully expected to only use it half way open but I'm pleasantly surprised to find I'll likely use it fully extended more often than not. It holds a good amount of water and has cut down on my trips to refresh my water. The included carabiner is beautiful and sturdy and I'm torn between using it as a keychain or leaving it on the pot to attach to my bags as needed. My only issue, if it can even be considered one, is that the coating on the cups is a bit, sticky??? Not at all to the touch, but I did find some small fibers and pet hair stuck to the cups, even when fully dry. It's not really much trouble as I can just wipe them off with a dry cloth.Gotta hand it to Kristy for once again releasing a beautiful, quality product that is a delight to paint with. Honestly, I can't overstate how happy I am with this brush rinser/travel water cup.

Just what I always wanted a nice two well water pot for watercolouring. Yes, it is a bit pricey but, way cheaper than ordering from the U.S. I was glad to see it available from the Canada Amazon. It is the perfect size for my desk as I usually paint near my Imac and don't have that much room on my desk. The only negative is that it is a bit hard to carry when it is full of water and I have to be careful not to spill any. I would also like to see in a future design is a few holes for drying brushes, you can also just lay the brushes across to dry.If you love Kristy Rice you will love this painter's pot, it is cute just like she is.
