I bought these so my son who's playing QB in middle school could get used to throwing in pads at home. They'd be fine for mild contact, but wouldn't want him to use these in a real game. Also the buckles on the chest plate don't lay flat and stick out a bit, and could possibly hurt someone if they tackled him.

This fit my 10 yr old perfectly he’s a little smaller and it’s hard to find good fitting shoulder pads!

These fit exact according to size, they fit just right across the chest and shoulders and come down in both the front and the back for added protection but not be irritating at the same time. They are put together to last, the materials are durable and flex just enough to fit correctly and go inside of a jersey. The buckles are easily adjusted and hook and unhook with ease but do not unhook during play or practice! Impressive pads at an even more impressive value!

The only reason i didn't give it four stars is because it didn't have the strings to secure the chest. Overall its a great product!

These are very good quality pads. The plastic shell is firm and hard, but very light. The mash underneath is very breathable and the padding is comfortable. Overall, these are very nice pads and I highly recommend.
