This product was extremely disappointing. I tried many ways to get it to work but ended up abandoning it. It might work for anchoring in shallow rivers or on a bank but it is more than worthless when anchoring in water any more than a few feet deep. The swivel causes the anchor line to quickly twist around itself and makes retrieval impossible. I had to reach over the boat, grab both lines, and manually hoist up the anchor. Yes, I watched the YouTube videos of people who claimed to have solutions to the problem, and tried them, but they only provided marginal improvement. The real solution was to get rid of this thing and use a climbing pulley that does not have a swivel which spins and wraps the line. A climbing pulley works GREAT and is a lot cheaper.

This has changed my rope management on my drift boat. It gets rid of anchor twist is fairly easy to install. I put in some Jesus clips to make it easier to take off my anchor. I like this product a lot and does not add too much length to my overall anchor length.

New to the raft fishing community. My biggest concern was how difficult it was to pull the anchor line thru the tubing. I bought a cheap, galvanized swivel rated to 400 lbs from a fram supply and it helped. A friend suggested this and it is perfect. I was relying on the Tornado anchor to spin solely on the “I” bolt but that is mainly for the plates. This swivel pulley keeps my anchor line from twisting as the anchor sets. Retrieving in fast water is so easy now. I apologize for not getting pictures or video but I’ve only fished alone since installing.

this swivel pulley works great on a drift boat. makes pulling up anchor much easier on any river. is pretty durable and has nice finish. the swivel is very smooth so no worries about getting line twisted. This is a must have for any drift boat.

I cannot believe what a difference this makes in hauling up my anchor. I did buy another swivel for the boat to help just in case of tangled lines. This will keep the tangles out from the anchor rolling and the other will help with line twists. The item is pretty heavy duty so I am not worried at all in any issues or it breaking. The finish may come off over time but I bought this to use not to look at. Very well made and highly recommend this pulley/swivel system to add to your anchoring system.

For all of you rafters and drift boaters out there. This is your device to help reduce the strain of pulling that heavy lead triangle from the bottom and prevent turning and twisting or your anchor rode! Outstanding product! A little expensive but worth the extra few bucks. Highly recommend. We have one one on the raft and our drift boat

I always say 2 things about my wife: One, she loves to fly fish and two, she knows how to row a drift boat. Who could ask for a better wife in my opinion. We run a 35 lb. anchor so for her to pull it is difficult at best. I used a pulley since we got our drift boat but always had problems with the line twisting. When the line is twisted it can be next to impossible (even for me) to overcome the twisted line and pull the anchor. The SpinRX took care of the line twist problem and makes the heavy anchor so much easier to pull. Great quality product that works like you want it to. Love this anchor pulley - it is simply the best.
