Ordered a 3 inch muffler. But the issue is it’s necked down to a 2 inch tubes on the inside. You can see in the picture how much it necks down. I wish I would have read the reviews.

These are advertised as 3”. In fact the inlet/outlet fit on 3” pipe, however they neck way down to about 2.25” inside the muffler—possibly causing restriction. I like the sound, but am not sure about how well they actually flow.

I own a '21 Charger R/T, which come with the Adaptive Performance Exhaust, 2 3/4 pipes with two sets of straight through resonators, with a computer control valve between them. Beyond loud and in traffic, it drones; completely unacceptable and annoying. Comments on these mufflers were that they eliminated the exhaust drone, so I ordered a pair to be installed in place of the forward two resonators. The muffler shop cut out the resonators and welded in the Dynomax mufflers; wow, what an improvement. The car is quiet when cruising, with no drone at all when in traffic, a nice deep rumble under partial throttle and still has a loud bark under full throttle. A perfect solution to the problem and makes the car a pleasure to drive now!!

Built a custom exhaust with 3" pipes, 3" catalytic converter and this muffler. Sounds great, a bit louder than the cold air intake (you don't hear the cold air anymore).Had I to do it over, I might have chosen the Thrush version instead (same company, the Thrush version has fiberglass packing, this one doesn't).As for gas milage, since its louder, I find myself pressing on the gas a little softer, I suspect that's were most of my gain is.I also suspect that any gas milage or power gains are minimal. This isn't a supercharger...This exhaust is quieter at idle and at cruise, but really comes alive at heavier throttles.On a single exhaust V-8, seems to drone a bit at 2400rpm or so - but not bad and certainly not Flowmaster bad.

GMC 1 ton dually, works perfect, I can feel the difference in power and get an extra 75kms per tank. Best of all, most importantly, is quiet, almost like same as stock.

These are awesome mufflers. They sound great and are good quality. The only complaint I have is that the inlet and outlet might be 3” but they reduce down to about 2” ID inside the muffler. It isn’t a biggie unless you are over 200 hp per muffler or something like that. If you do have more power I would suggest part number 17792 which is 3” all the way through.

Great sound and much better flow than normal mufflers. Can't beat a turbo.
