I was so excited when this arrived! The halter is so beautiful and colorful. I got the average/medium size for horses 800-1200lbs. I have a yearling that's an Appaloosa cross who's around 15.3h but I'm sure he'll get bigger since he's still growing. At first I though the halter would be too small but it was the opposite. After lots of fighting,pulling,and bucking I got the halter on putting it on the last holes to find it was wayyy too big. So I took it off and I heated a pocket knife with a lighter and created another hole closer to the buckle. Then I cut off the excess strap and burned the end with a lighter to prevent it from fraying. Now it fits perfectly and it's very very durable. The buckles and clip are great. The halter has made it through many of his training/breaking lessons without breaking. I would've rather not had to make adjustments but Im glad I did. I included pictures.
