I recently purchased a counter height table for my kitchen but realized that regular counter height chairs at 24 inches high, were just a little TOO high - the table has two drawers under the top of it, hence a lot of knee banging with the 24 high stool. I searched high and low and finally found these stools - and at 22 inches high, they are perfect height! Shopped around and decided to go with Amazon due to free shipping and all my past purchases here have gone well. I ordered the stool on Monday, and today is Friday and surprise! Fedex just delivered - nice surprise! Even BETTER surprise?? The chair comes assembled - yippee! The only thing I did have to do was to remove two rubber pieces in order to slide the back piece in. If you order the chair without the back piece, there is nothing at all for you to do.The chair is well made, looks sharp and is very comfortable. I know it was designed for school and public use, but it fits in perfect in my kitchen - couldn't be happier
