The product came as described. I am a semi pro installer and have done couple of installations in past. Foremost if you think you can go by web description please do not try this. You need to have basic understanding of electrical knowledge, color coding etc. Its not as simple as its described. The customer service is only available weekdays.The installation was not too hard as I knew the in and out of my truck. The link that is provided for installation only loaded in after an hour as it kept showing the demo diagram for installation but I had done the connections without it. Tech support was not available as I did it over the weekend.It took me almost 1 hour to program the module as it could not read my trucks data but before that the usb connection to the module from the laptop was also not reading as it had lose connections. Took me 4 tries to get my trucks data to the module so that I could load in the software from the laptop.But once done it worked like a charm so in total I spent close to 3 hours to get this done. Its been a week in my truck now and works as stated.Will be great if their installation instructions are more clear and precise.Compared to outside installation where I was quoted close to $400 I got this done under $200 but remember you need to have basic knowledge of the electronics of any car.All the best guys.

Was a very easy install, need a good knowledge of vehicle interior compnents. Follow step-by-step instructions, and enjoy the convenience of remote start! Need one for my wife's car next!

I bought 2 of these units first one was a pleasure to install in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler,5 star Easy as 1 2 3 highly recommend, second one was not a plug and play and choose to return 2017Ram 2500 some extra work beyond my scope so i choose to return, no harm no foul im sure its a good unit also

For my 2016 Ram, 1500 with standard key the install was very straight forward. The provided T harnesses, along with step by step instructions, made the installation and setup a breeze. All was plug and play, without the need to tap into any of the factory wires. I needed to make a single connection for 1 wire, but it was between 2 of the harnesses and the butt splice connector was already crimped on one side.I would recommend reading all of the programming steps to familiarize yourself before programming the module. It requires steps in the vehicle first, before removing and using a PC to program the module. This was also very straight forward and there was no rush between steps.If you can follow directions and have the ability to use basic tools, anyone can install themselves. I’ve done a few over the last 20+ years and they’ve gotten so much easier.Instructions were clear. Don’t get hung up on the wiring diagrams. Just follow the step by step guide and you’ll be fine.

It took me about 2 hours, granted taking my time. The instructions are basic, and you will need a basic understanding of how wiring works. Was deffinitly doable. comes with the harness, only had to make two splices, on for break pedal, one for power. I am very happy with the kit, work very well.

It does work but it wasn't as easy as claimed. My particular vehicle was missing 2 extremely important sections in the "tip sheet" you are told to scan for instructions. The actual instructions are found somewhat hidden in the 3rd party software you are supposed to download. In my vehicle, wires had to be cut and spliced, which I wasn't expecting. The tech support took 2 and a half days to respond and by then I had figured out how to find the missing sections. And as for reliability. I often have to try the start sequence 2 or 3 times before it successfully starts. That is probably because of my timing but its annoying none the less. If you can afford to spend the extra $$ to have a professional starter and installation done, I'd recommend it.
