This is an incredible anchor. I replaced a 14 lb. Danforth style anchor with this one. My boat is 36 overall and a heavy 36 at that. This anchor holds extremely well in sand and mud. I have not used it on a rocky bottom yet. I would recommend this anchor to anyone with a large boat that wants more holding power without needing a crazy heavy anchor.

I’ve a 38’ trawler about 15k lbs. I’ve hah this exact anchor for several years now and when I wanted to replace my heavy stern anchor, this was the logical choice.

The low weight and unheard of holding power puts this anchor at the top of my list for not having to worry about it pulling loose even in rough water.
