I recently bought an old, used van to transport band gear to and from gigs. The original factory stereo system was pretty impressive for the time the van was introduced (5-disc in-dash CD changer AND cassette deck 😂🕺🏻) but no auxiliary input…and Bluetooth wasn’t even on the radar back then. I’ve got SiriusXM and Ford Sync in my daily driven Focus, and the SiriusXM app on my phone. Wanted to find a way to listen to satellite radio with my phone app without having to shell out big bucks for a new, modern head unit installed in a part time vehicle. Google’d a little research and this Bluetooth/FM wireless technology came up.I was a little skeptical of the claims of “superior audio sound”, because I remember the “old days” when trying to play my Sony Discman in my old car using a cassette adapter over FM bandwidth. (Yeah, I’m THAT old.) Back then, the background radio station “bleed” from nearby stations close to the “open” frequency you had to select, and noisy engine static made listening almost unbearable. And seeing the almost laughable low price of this unit, I thought there was no way this product could really be more than a cheap “toy.” But after reading so many positive reviews on the audio quality of this unit, and the features it offered, I thought I’d take a chance and buy it. I’m glad I did. It performs even better than I could have imagined. Now for some more honest negatives. The unit does come with the ability to use your phone to make and receive calls. And the basic functions do work as advertised. However the built in microphone is pretty cheap and people I talk to using the hands free function say my voice sounds a little “echo-y.” I have the unit mounted in an AC vent that is fairly close to my noggin, so I don’t think it a proximity issue, just not a high quality mic. But hey, it functions; and I mainly bought the unit for the music anyways. The phone thing is just gravy for me. The only other “negative” for me is that it doesn’t come with an on/off switch, but this probably won’t affect most buyers. My 12 volt cigarette outlet is “on” even when my ignition switch is “off.” While the small amount of battery juice used to power the little led while the van is parked when not being driven is PROBABLY not an issue, but I still don’t want to take the chance to come out to a dead battery…so I unplug it from the outlet when it’s parked for a few days. Also, there was a small bit of tweaking involved in finding the best output volume on my phone to get the best audio sound in conjunction with my radio’s volume knob. For me, having my phone volume set at about 3/4 output made the overall sound quality much better. The higher the phone volume output, the more “overdriven” the audio was when turning up the radio’s volume knob. But make no mistake. The sound is very impressive. I’m a rocker from way back, and this unit makes for a really nice sound from an old stock “analog” car stereo. The USB charging ports are well lit and functional for me. I have no current use for “fast charging” capabilities, but those who do will probably like the feature. And I can charge my wireless ear buds with the USB-C port. Bonus points for that I guess.Lastly, I know there are units that do not have the longer “system” cable like this one, and one can purchase a unit that plugs directly into the 12 volt supply port with no extra extended “wire/cable”. But this feature is great for me as my 12 volt port is almost at floor level in my van. It would be hard to control the unit from that location. With the extra length of wire between the outlet and the control unit, I can attach the controller on my center AC vent and angle it towards me for easier functionality.I know this might not be exactly what some are looking for, but I have been very pleasantly surprised with this unit so far. No more agony of having to listen to the vast wasteland of commercial FM radio when I’m toolin’ around town. Highly recommend this product.

This works perfect! Now I can listen to my plays list in my older car!

I quite like this product. I like that it automatically syncs with whatever device I have set up. This device came with a magnet, that has sticky sides to stick somewhere in your car, which I liked a lot. It means I can use the device on my lap or leave it stationed on the magnet. The device is tiny enough, that I leave in my car or carry in purse. The sound is pretty good, but not super great. It may depend on the station you use. I like that you can charge your phone or iPod while using this this device. The only feature I wish I had, was a pause button. Overall, I would recommend this device to others. It gets the job done and allows me to listen to music with my iPod touch.

After looking through similar FM transmitters, I decided to go with this one for a couple of reasons:1. Go Bluetooth in my non-Bluetooth enabled car and eliminate extra wires.2. Still be able to stream music from my phone.3. Get better sound quality from the transmitter playing through my car speakers.I've had this product for a couple of days and I absolutely love it. It's definitely an improvement from my old FM transmitter set up where I constantly had to use the headphone jack to connect my phone to the radio. Bluetooth pairing is a breeze on my phone. Once I found the right station to play my media on, the sound came out quite clear with very little static. Switching songs with the device itself is simple enough and easy. Another plus is that the unit itself has a metal back so I can connect it to my magnetic phone mount that I already have sitting above the dash. Call quality is solid and the recipients on the other end note that it's clear enough without too much background noise. Overall great product and I'd happily recommend this to anyone who unfortunately does not have an AUX port, wants to stream their music, and take calls all in one.

Just installed the fm transmitter. I've tried similar things in the past that have only been marginal, so I had modest expectations this would work well. I installed the charger that is wire connected to the main fob. I was concerned where to mount the sticky pad, but I realized the clamp on the fob grabs my ash trey and a/c vent securely...nice surprise. So I used the ash trey and stuffed the cords inside the trey. Next was see how it worked... Easy pair to my pixel 7, 107.1 had no signal in my area so I used that and it synced right up. The fm is coming in great and it actually has a louder playback through my system than I expected. All in all, great device so far. Has option for SD card and aux cable as well, but Jo need for me at the moment. I just tried calling feature (sitting still no road noise) and the call was clear on both ends. Microphone did fine being 2.5 ,ft away.Anway, always nice to find ways to successfully hack not buying a new car! Cheers.

Easy to set up, connects quickly and automatically each morning on my way to work. That’s all I’ve ever wanted! I’ve even had a few people comment on the great audio quality on their end, when using the hands free. Which I didn’t expect to work honestly. Definitely recommend.

Ottimo prodotto.
