Wasn't sure if it was large enough for my pool house so I called manufacturer. When he found out I live in Florida, it was a definite yes. It's been in use now for several months and supplies all the hot water I need.

Heater puts out minimal luke warm water, and if use flow reducers might as well have nothing. Turned temp all the way up, 140 makes no difference. And running 8/3 wiring to it.

I’m going to keep my review short, had this for 3 months now feeding my laundry and kitchen sink and dishwasher and it’s been exactly what I hoped it would be. Extremely satisfying and am ordering 2 more smaller ones for my bathrooms. Easy installation and setup.

This water heater works great and was really easy to install. I think the price was okay for what you get. Have no issues so far and been using for about a month.

Water starts warming in about 6 seconds. This is for a sink only.

Cet appareil fonctionne tel que décrit dans la documentation. La température de l'eau en provenance d'un puit ou de l'aqueduc ainsi que les éléments de plomberie utilisés peuvent impacter le résultat.

I spent a great deal of time researching Tankless Water Heaters. This Stiebel Eltron DHX Trend seemed to be the best unit for my needs. I did have to run 8/2 AWG wire from a new 2 wire and ground 40 AMP Breaker to the unit. PLEASE NOTE: THE MAP OF THE DIFFERENT WATER TEMPERATURE ZONES DOES NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT UNITS INSTALLED THAT ARE CONNECTED TO WELL WATER. MY WELL WATER AT THE FAUCET MEASURED 46 DEGREES AND THE MAP SHOWED SOMETHING LIKE 56/57 DEGREES FOR MY AREA. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE WATER COMING INTO YOUR HOME GREATLY AFFECTS THE TIME AND TEMPERATURE THE TANKLESS HEAT UNIT CAN CONVERT THE WATER TO THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE COMING OUT OF YOUR FAUCET. THIS CAN RESULT IN NEEDING A DIFFERENT AMP FUSE AND TANKLESS UNIT. BE SURE ABOUT YOUR WATER TEMPERATURE BEFORE YOU ORDER AND USE. Sorry about the caps, but very important. Also you will need to install a sediment bowl/valve if you are on well water to prevent sand and debris from clogging the intake on your tankless unit. One last item, I called Stiebel Customer Service and received helpful info from the person. She understood the problem with the well water temperature and also suggested using "LOW FLOW" faucet ends (aerators ?) and a low flow shower head. I installed those, and they help to maintain the rate of hot water generated to lavatory -shower output. Installing the Sediment Water Filter was a pain due to poor manufacturing of the filters connecting threads. At this time unit is working, but I have some difficulty getting the cold/hot water adjusted to the right temperature. My learning curve must look like piece of typing paper. Hope I helped you with this review.
