The motor seems every bit as good as my original condenser motor on my HVAC unit. It has a clockwise rotation, indicated by an arrow printed on the motor. I could not find this info anywhere else. The reason for my average rating: no capacitor is included with this motor. Most other sellers include capacitors matched to their motors, more of a convenience than a cost. The foam cut-out that the motor is shipped in has a spot for the capacitor. Including the capacitor guarantees a match without a trip to local HVAC suppliers or searching Amazon.
