One of the better air-popper popcorn machines. Easy to use, clean, and functions well. The size is a tad larger than most air-popper machines, but it OK if you have the space. If you plan to add butter, use a separate bowl so that the popping bowl lasts longer over time.

I have bought and returned a dozen air poppers. Some on line some local stores. 1 only last 1 day, others only a couple weeks. Some popped efficiently but died. One caught fire. Anyway this one works beautifully, pops more corn than any others, light and airy popcorn. It is perfect, wouldn't change a thing. We used it a lot this winter and never disappointed us.

Never burn you popcorn again - plus it's fun! It makes double the pop we used to make using the brown bag method. The bowl lid & strainer at the top....(Bottom?) works very well at straining out the unpoped seeds & flecks. Wish there was an on/off switch, & the cord was a bit longer, but minor complaints. Definitely worth all of $40

This is our favorite way to eat popcorn. You don't need any oil or butter just the kernels. It takes about 3 minutes and you'll have a whole bowl of popcorn ready. Saved us a lot of money. It seems very durable and easily cleanable. We burnt popcorn before but only if you don't flip it in time. We recommend melting some butter and using Laurys seasoning salt for the best flavor

hace una gran cantidad de palomitas y en menos de dos minutos. Muchos reportan que se sobrecalienta y deja de funcionar, pero es que no leen las instrucciones, claramente dice que no mas de media taza, si echan mas corre el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento. Ademas con un cuarto de taza y se hace la misma cantidad que con las palomitas de sobre que se compran en las tiendas, no es necesario echarle tanto.

Smoked and died just after the fourth use, just outside a month. It is not a good popper, letting many unpopped kernels into the bowl.Very disappointed.

First use with 1/2 cup as instructed yielded 5 unpopped kernels left. 3 fell out into the cover when you flip it over, the other 2 were mixed in the batch. Not bad.....cant really complain about that! The kernels were partly opened as well, so maybe if I would have left it for a few seconds longer they would have popped. I guess this has a lot to do with the quality of kernels you are using no doubt. I bought the variety pack of Amish Country which was used in this first go around.The popper was easy to use. I plugged it in and let in run for a minute or two with no popcorn or the bowl on to let the element burn in a bit. Then I added some kernels and put the cover on. Make sure you have the red cover OFF so it can vent the hot air out the top.After the popping stops you have a full bowl of fluffy popcorn! Now you put the red cover on and flip it over. Pretty easy.I didn't find the machine got hot at all, but I only made 1 bowl. The sides were slightly warm.The one thing I wish it had was a switch. I'm not understanding the reason to omit this. Maybe they don't want it flipped it over while its plugged in?Unplugging it from the wall while in use you could easily knock the unit over because it has a pretty short cord. Residential receptacles really aren't designed to handle arcing either. I didn't see any big flash or anything but I know its happening.Other than that the machine worked great! Enjoy your popcorn! :)

This popcorn maker works very well. The machine pops all of the kernels most of the time. The few times where a kernel or two failed to pop was probably more to do with the kernel than this machine. The reason that it gets 4 stars is that as others have noted is that it lacks an 0n - Off switch. When after about 4 to 5 minutes, the machine is no longer popping corn. Look in the receptacle where the corn goes and if it is empty, you unplug the machine. The addition of an on/off switch would make this little appliance much more user friendly.If you're looking for a very good popcorn maker, I can definitely recommend this one. It requires minimal cleaning after use, the top can do double duty as a serving bowl, and it pops all of the kernels most of the time. You do have to load it (I recommend a little less than the max), get it placed where you can easily plug it in, you do have to watch it so that you can be there to unplug it when it finishes popping the corn, but it does an excellent job. The addition of an on-off switch would make it 5 stars. My solution is to plug it into a power strip that has an on - off switch.If you like popcorn, you will be using this often.
