Not sure what I could say is good, it does what it should ......'sometimes'.Have a lot of disks it won't read ... admittedly they could be old and ??BUTMy main problem is that I cannot just change disks, every disk change i need to remove drive and reconnectNow, that could be a USB thing , however not knowing better I blame the drive .... it should be able to keep the chanel open even when empty

While the instruction were detailed and very repetitive, the disc reader read several of the disc and let me know what it couldn't read. I forgot about the limited space on the disc

I could see the files and folders on the disk but could not open, copy or view them. I tried on a few different computers and got the same results. Disappointed with the product.

As a kid of the 70s and 80s and as a data entry/office support in the late 80s until now lol I have both photo floppys and business mappings on 2000 Visio that I have been saving! It works great - there are times you have to unplug and replug but do what? If you’re from the old school you’ll have no issues. And they include a directive to walk you through things as a user and as a tech!PS I’ll be emailing them for this success.

I found an old 3.5 floppy disk that I was curious to find what was on it. Not having a computer with any disk drive, I bought this device. I was able to easily find what was on the disk once I plugged it into my computer. Some of the text was corrupted, but the photos on the disk were readable, which was my main intent.

I'm a tough critic and tester, but I couldn't find anything wrong with this drive. It writes, reads, formats, and executes programs on the disk just like you would expect with a traditional diskette drive. The only weirdness, that may be attributable to my Windows 11 Home operating system, is that I would get an invalid media error on some disks. I realized that, in each case, the write protect tab was open and when I closed it, the error went away. I did get an error copying specific files occasionally, but it only happened less than 1 percent of the time and the files may have actually been corrupt. I read over 300 disks with this unit. Will update this review if the unit does not hold up well over time.

The drive is read by computer but the drive read 1 out of 39 diskettes. Then after checking the floppy drive USB damaged the pins in my computers USB port. Do Not Buy
