Fits most chain and all braided or twisted anchor line, or snubber lines up to 3/4" (19 mm). Key-pin shackle also fits through most bow rollers. Other uses include towing, boom preventers, boom tie down, dock lines and more. Attach using a simple clove hitch or add an optional pair of LineGrabbers (Davis #2460) to fit all braided or twisted line up to 1" (25 mm) and beyond. Made of UV resistant nylon cover sewn over elastomer, progressive tension system. Patented line stretch limiter and progressive tension design make AnchorSnubber the best choice. Each end features a 316 stainless steel captive key-pin shackle.

I like these products i.e. Davis, the Anchor snubber and line snubbers and line grabbers. The snubber is just right for my 50 foot chain 30 lb anchor. If I need to put out more rode, I would use the line grabbers on this snubber to grab the rope line and create a slack spot. This snubber stretches just easily enough, but not too easy. My boat is 34' and 16,000 lbs.

I deducted 1 star for the lack of usable information from the manufacturer: they did not disclose the recommended maximum load for each Snubber. Turns out it is about 100 pounds, or 8" of stretch.

I bought this snubber in August 2019. Initially was excited about the find. I used this in Rhode Island for 3 month and it worked great. January 12 in lake worth fl with not much wind. Less then 10 kits and a 2 knot current this shackle bent so bad I had to use a drift and large hammer to release it. Now underway to Bahamas and do not have a shipping address. Plus the return window has closed. I hope the company will reach out to me.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but the construction looks good and the key-pin shackles will make it easy to attach and remove.
