This is a very good product. Before a friend introduced me to Amazon I purchased the same tire from a dealer for approx. $100. That was only 1 rear tire. I got a set of tires for my street bike for less than $100. from amazon. I will always check w/amazon first in the future.

I just ordered my second Shinko 712 rear tire for my bike. Got about 8300 miles on the first one. Great tire for the price. Really like the handling. The bike tracks true through the corners with no front nibble over seams or grooves. The rear follows along as it should. The front which was put on at the same time is almost like new. I expect to get another 10,000 out of the front at this rate.Shinko Fact: When Yokohama dropped out of the M/C tire business, They sold their molds and formulas to Shinko, so These are basically Yokohama M/C tires.

Good tire. I have bought this one before. It lasted me 10,000 miles. It has great grip in all weather. Makes for a very smooth ride.

Got this for a Suzuki 500 Vulcan twin. It's a good tire. Compared to the other brands, it's a real bargain. No problems whatsoever, and the bike likes it. Handles great with no shortcomings I can see. Would buy again, and then again.

Used on a honda pc800. This tire is not reccomended size (should be a 1240/80-15.) IS overall 10% taller than and 80 but on my 1994 it fits with around 1" clearance near the front of the swing arm and the resonator for the muffler.A little over 200 miles on it so far and wearing in fine. I went easy on it for the first 100 miles at less than highway speeds to make sure it was going to be fine.Mounted by hand with a few tire tools and rim protectors. Needed a few grams of weight.Update: 9,000 miles on this tire and 1/16" tread left on center of tire. I ride 1 up 200 lbs some gear in trunk. Just around 4 years of dry pavement riding. I could get another 500 miles out of it possibly 800 miles if i stay of the chip & tar back roads (man they are like a cheese grater on soft tires!) No unusual wear, no cracking. This tire seems to be worth the price. I have a wild flare tire on the front and it has slight cupping and lots of tread left, but is showing dryrot cracks so I will go with another shinko on the front.I do not ride aggressively, use is 50/50 surface streets/highway.
