These skates were perfect and comfortable. The padding feels good under your feet. They are outdoor and indoor skates. I live the light up effect that they give. I ordered these for my pre-teen granddaughter as the rink rent skates are clunky and not the cleanest. These are great- lightweight, well made, comfortable for the first wearing and the light up wheels make them extra special on the dimly lit rinks. She can practice skating on my tile floors and her wood floors at home. Her skating skills went from 33% struggle to smooth confident sailing when she wore them at the big rink. I also ordered these for my two middle school grandsons and they're having a wonderful time as the wheels make maneuvering corners and speed skating much easier. They're affordable and well made so as their feet grow we can just order new boots to attach to the existing trucks. Best purchases I made for this Christmas.

These worked pretty well as beginner skates! I did use them outdoors and while it was a little clunky on asphalt, they worked really well on the sidewalk! They look exactly as advertised and the material seems very solid. I wish the wheels had more colors in them but they're still cool!I didn't go off of shoe size and measured my foot, and I'm glad I did because I orderd a half size larger than my shoe size and they fit beautifully! I will say they are a little tight in the toes and I had to poke some holes for ventilation, but I'll be using these a lot!
