I got this kit as a gift for my soon to be born niece. It certainly catches the eye! Bright red color with gold letters looks very attractive. The plush toy snake is safe and sturdy enough for baby to play with. The cotton beanie is soft and good for baby’s tender skin. The bib has three snaps to choose from for the right fit. I put $25 in the little red envelope to complete the gift.

This is such a cute set for a baby born in the year of the snake. The reds are vibrant and they match perfectly. I was worried I’d get a set where the shades of red weren’t quite the same but they matched these perfectly. The set is super cute and so well made. The stitching is all even and consistent and the cotton is very soft. I can’t wait to give this to my friend when her baby comes this year.

We have a friend's baby shower this weekend, a couple who is are fellow Chinese tea lovers and helped us present a public Lunar New Year tea event this year for the start of the year of the snake. This set seemed perfect for these friends!Happily, the quality of the set was very high, and not just a novelty. The hat and bib are soft and durable, and baby safe. The bib has snaps for different neck sizes as the baby grows in the first year or two. They have good embroidery (not just a printed pattern) and look easy to wash.The snake plushie is a decent size, good for grabbing and hugging. There are no parts that can come off to endanger a baby, with the eyes again being good solid embroidery.There's also a hong bao paper envelope for gifting money, a nice traditional touch. It is also of good quality.In total, this is a really nice baby gift set. It will be well appreciated this weekend when we gift it.

Fits great, exactly as described; great quality and materials. I like that it also includes a money envelope and a toy snake that's 10 times better in person. I hope they make more of these in different years, as this would even make a perfect gift for a loved one. 10/10 recommend it.
