This works on a 2018 ford focus 2.0l motor. Had no issue installing and it is very well made. Its brass,..use your head when installing! That means leave your gorilla fist for lug nuts. Has 2 orings, one seals to the oil pan, just like the oil pan drain bolt, and the other is to seal the bolt to the valve body. Makes changing your oil a game changer. This is the second one ive purchased for 2 different vehicles ive owned.

By reading the reviews, I understood that this oil pan valve could be used to replace the yellow plastic plug factory installed by Ford on my F150, 2.7 ltr engine truck. However, by looking at the OEM plug after I removed it from the oil pan, I discovered that the threads on the OEM were way larger than the valve's thread. Therefore, I didn't even try to install it. I used the OEM plug after I changed the oil on my truck. This may be a good fit and good quality valve for other vehicles, as it looks well built and precision-machined. I installed the Fumoto F107SX - 360° Rotatable Oil Drain Valve M12-1.75 with Clip (with the ADP-137 Adapter for M12-1.75) on my 2022 Holiday Rambler (F-53). It fit perfectly and is holding without leakage. I've yet to change the oil with this attachment, but just looking at the device, it appears the next oil change will be effortless and more importantly, clean.

Easy install. Several complaints in the reviews that the threaded portion broke off- I don't see how this can happen unless you really crank on it. With a torque wrench set to 15ft/ lbs as directed, there was no issue with getting it appropriately tight.Understand that the oil will flow out of this valve significantly slower than the factory drain plug. Hot oil is your friend, and plan your time accordingly. If you want to wait until there is just an occasional drip left, it will take 10 to 15 minutes to fully drain. However, because the drainage is so controllable and mess-free with this valve, it is the perfect opportunity to get the filter changed out while you are waiting.

I've always found drain plugs a pain to swap out for oil changes. Fumoto valves are GREAT - I've installed on every vehicle or small engine that I have to maintain to make oil changes a breeze. Sure, if you have a lift and are a full-time mechanic they might not be worth it for your vehicles. But for the DIY oil change at home when you're crawling under your car in a tight space, these things make the job easier, quicker, and with less mess and oil splashing everywhere. They have fittings and style options to fit a wide variety of use cases, from car oil pan to things like generators or mowers. Whenever I get a new car (not that often, tbh) or have to maintain some small gas-powered device, this is the first accessory I buy!

I bought the Fumoto F107SX M12-1.75 Sx series valve which is the recommended drain valve for L5P Duramax engines. The first oil change after draining the oil, I noticed that the valve seated to the pan with only 2 revolutions or 2 threads holding. This seemed to be way too weak to trust this valve and if I properly torqued it with only 2 threads holding, I'm pretty sure something would have stripped out. So, I put the old plug in and sent an email to Fumoto detailing what I found. They promptly reported back they had no known issues with this valve for Duramax Engines and a diagram with dimensions of the valve. The diagram shows their thread length is 3/8" long and the original plug is 11/16".So, on the second oil change, I went to more effort to make sure I wasn't missing something on the first change. I also sent pictures to Fumoto and detailed my concerns with this valve since I was right in not installing it the first time. Waiting over 2 weeks, I have still not had a response.As you can see in the pictures the difference in my oil plug comparing it to their valve. Also, took a picture of the bottom of the oil pan showing the recessed length of about 3/16" with no threads. Looking at the original plug and their valve and taking in consideration the recessed area of the drain hole, you can easily see only 2 threads are holding. I believe Fumoto could be in serious liability if this indeed breaks or strips out and someone loses an engine. So, I definitely would not use this. Sorry Fumoto, I tried. And sadly, my return period has expired

Makes draining the oil on our vehicle much cleaner - I've changed the oil twice since it's been installed and it worked flawlessly. Oil drains slower , but at an acceptable rate - still drains all the oil out before I can remove and reinstall the oil filter.

Was sent F103SX instead which is a completely different thread pitch and wrong item entirely.**Update** was sent the correct item and installed, fantastic piece for making oil changes easy with no mess.
