Need to make sure battery is aligned for it to fit, light very bright and durable, smallBut a work horse. Use it a lot, stores in bag with dewalt drills etc. recommended! Note - do not leave your battery connected after use!!!

Using a year old DeWalt 1.5 Ahr (30 Whr) battery, on the light lasted 3 full hours on the dimmer setting. On the brighter setting it lasted 1 hr 18 min. I ran the test with a different year old 1.5 Ahr DeWalt battery and got the same results within a couple of minutes each time. I was pleasantly surprised, and the light does not go noticeably dimmer as time goes on... it stays bright until the battery just shuts down. Then you can turn the switch off and back on and the light will stay lit for another few minutes. The light works well for me, especially considering a 1 yr warranty and the price!

The lamp is good, bright and fits well the Dewalt batteries. One really different feature from other lamps with a USB plug, is that this one does not drainthe battery if it is left on the lamp if you set to OFF the push button On/OFF switch(push button not visible on the advertisement pictures).On/Off push button really put the lamp to OFF (USB and lamp), the toggle swicth chooses Lamp intensity or USB plug only.Very bright (although probably not really 6000 lumens) and the 2 possible intensities are very practicalbecause sometime the max lighting is too bright when working close to it.

Love the cost compared to original dewalt. Brightness is what I wanted. Two brightness settings are also great. Worse issue is that this has drained the battery twice if left fully con̈acted. Have stopped that as it can be a common issue with many tools like this. I'd buy again.

This inexpensive light works with my Dewalt battery packs and does a great job of lighting up my work place. The light has a high low switch to change the lights intensity depending on your need. The light will last about 30-40 minutes on high so have some spare batteries if your project is a long one. For the price compared to other lighting options it’s worth it.

Good light output. There is little difference between the two brightness settings. the position adjustment needs two wrenches/ sockets to properly adjust. Either it is too tight or too loose. Simply designing with a wing nut and a captive bolt head feature molded into the plastic body would have eliminated any reliance on tools to lessen/tighten. The switches are really cheap; the “brightness” switch did not consistently work and there also seems to be a middle position on it that also turns the light off, in addition to the separate on/off switch. The instruction manual does not accurately describe the switch layout. Overall build quality and design details is lacking, but it does function and throw out some good light. I purchased for use in a Search And Rescue application and will be returning it as I just don’t trust the reliability and ease of adjustment in the woods. I am not bring wrenches into the forest to ensure the light doesn’t flop around on itself.

After seeing my brother's 20v worklight in use while working in the woods, I decided I needed one.... So I purchased this because it's compatible with my existing Dewalt 20v batteries and I wouldn't have to invest in another set of batteries. I was pleasantly surprised as this was both a bargain and a quality product- super bright!!!One of the standout features of this work light is its impressive brightness. The 20V Max LED provides a powerful and even illumination that's suitable for a wide range of tasks. Whether you're working in a dimly lit workspace or need to light up a specific area, this light does the job admirably. It's great for DIY projects, automotive work, camping, and emergency situations. I had it both inside my jetski as a worklight, and also used it out in the woods while tapping trees for syrup, then additionally in the Adirondacks in our tents while camping. It offered impressive brightness and I never even had to change the battery. The only thing I might want to upgrade is on the water resistance- feels robust and well-constructed but I don't know how it would fare getting wet. It's designed to withstand rough handling and is resistant to minor bumps and drops but, like many work lights, it could benefit from improved water resistance for added durability in outdoor settings. But overall I have been very impressed and glad that I added this to my tool arsenal. Its cordless design, brightness, and adjustability make it a valuable addition to any workspace or outdoor adventure. While there is room for improvement in terms of water resistance and battery life, it's a solid choice for those in need of a portable and powerful work light.

It's exactly what everyone in the reviews says, this thing is very, very bright. Extremely useful. Feels solid. However, take the warning about removing the battery when not in use seriously. I don't know why the design does this, but it really does drain the battery constantly, even when turned off. Moreover, while it claims to have low voltage protection, I had a battery die of low voltage after leaving it in (while powered off) for several weeks. And when I say "die" I mean the voltage was so low that the DeWalt charger refused to even start charging. I had to use a YouTube tip to "jump start" the battery, or I'd be SOL.

The low voltage cutout works as it should to protect the battery from over discharging. I put in a Dewalt battery and left the light on to discharge it. When it shut off I tested the battery and it was about 15.7 volts. That's right about where Dewalt tools cut off. I removed the battery, put it back in (still drained) and the light ran for about 1 minute and shut off again. Enough to find your way out of the dark or grab another battery but still safe for the battery. The charging ports also cut off with the rest of the light. This light is very bright with a good spread of light. It'll light up the tops or tall trees but still give a wide "flood" type of spread that would be good to work by. Point it at the ceiling and it'll light up all the corners of a large room. This light is a great addition to my collection of Dewalt tools and batteries. It's nice to have a cheaper alternative to the expensive Dewalt 20v lights that do the same thing. I also like that this is small and lightweight. I haul my tools to jobsites so size and weight are important. This folds over into a small size I can easily fint into my tightly packed toolboxes.I haven't tested battery life but it seems reasonable so far. It's not that important to me since I have a lot of batteries in all capacities. I bought this to squeeze a little time out of the day as it's getting dark or push to finish a job rather than coming back for an hour the next day. I don't plan on running it for countless hours on one battery. It would be nice if there was more difference between the high and low. There is a difference but it's close. A lower low would be nice for small areas or to extend the battery life but it's not a deal breaker. The light gets pretty hot when running for a while. Not burning hot but hotter than other LED lights I've used. It's hot enough to make a nice handwarmer on a cold day. Not the most efficient light but not dangerous. A lot of energy going to heat. You're not going to get the best power management at this pricepoint. The battery stays cool though.Overall it's great for what it is and what it costs. If you're planning on regularly using it all day for work it may be better to get the more efficient Dewalt work light. If you just need it occasionally this is more than enough.
