I got this for my fiancé for Christmas to replace the one his company gave him. It is a wonderful quality. I love the color of the lining on the inside! My fiancé absolutely loves it and switched to his new bag right away.

It was more than what I expected.

This bag looks good and is functional. Perfect for office use fits a laptop, pens, notebook and most everything you'll need. However the strap broke on the handle and there is a tear on the buckle that keeps the bag closed.

Seems like a great product, until you snag a buckle and realize the "leather" is fabric covered PAPER! What a waste! Amazon was great to deal with on the return though!

Ich habe lange nach einer schicken und gleichzeitig hochwertigen Ledertasche für mein Studium gesucht. Zuerst wollte ich nur etwa 100€ investieren, dachte aber, dass man zu diesem Preis keine ordentliche Qualität erwarten könne, sodass ich beschloss meine Preisgrenze zu erhöhen.Meine Anforderungen waren:- Büffelleder, da dies das stabilste/langlebigste Leder ist- viele Fächer für Kleinkram- mittlere Größe- möglichst geringes Gewicht- ,,Steckverschluss", für schnelles Öffnen und Schließen- allgemein gute Qualität und Verarbeitung (-> Langlebigkeit)Bei meiner Recherche bei Amazon stieß ich dann auf dieses Modell, was mir vom Stil her sehr gut gefiel und auch von vielen Kunden positiv bewertet wurde. Mir gefielen auch andere Taschen dieses Herstellers (beispielsweise das Modell ,,Oxford"), allerdings hatten diese nur einen Magnetverschluss, welchen ich persönlich etwas unpraktisch finde, da er nicht so ,,fest hält", oder man ihn in der Hektik nicht genau trifft und die Tasche so offen bleibt.Nun zur Tasche an sich:Das Leder ist sehr dick, weich im Griff (fühlt sich ölig an ohne feucht zu sein) und trotzdem stabil, wie es sich für eine Aktentasche gehört. Mein Exemplar sieht nicht so ,,rau" von der Struktur des Leders her aus wie auf dem Produktbild, sondern eher glatt. Daher hat mein Exemplar beim Abreiben mit einem Tuch auch nicht abgefärbt. Es sind einige ,,Lederfehler" wie ungleiche Farbe oder Kratzer zu sehen. Mich stört das nicht, da es der Tasche einen rustikalen Flair verleiht, wer hier stattdessen ein makelloses Material erwartet, dürfte enttäuscht werden. Die Tasche hat einen normal-starken Ledergeruch, er ist nicht penetrant oder störend, aber wahrnehmbar. Der Farbton bei meinem Modell ist etwas heller, als der des Produktbildes, gefällt mir aber gut.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Ich habe die Tasche intensiv begutachtet und keine Nahtfehler entdecken können (ansonsten hätte ich sie umgetauscht, was bei diesem Verkäufer problemlos möglich gewesen wäre). Die Nähte scheinen auch doppelt genäht zu sein, daher dürfte die Tasche auch stabil sein.Die Tasche ist im leeren Zustand erstaunlich leicht - das hätte ich nicht erwartet. Ich würde sie auf etwa 1kg schätzen, ich als zierliche Frau spüre sie ungefüllt so gut wie gar nicht auf der Schulter.Ich habe die Tasche auch schon mit ein paar Utensilien getestet. Ich habe in ihr ein Ultrabook (ca. 1,3kg), ein Tablet (ca. 300g), zwei Federmappen, ein Taschenrechner, ein Terminkalender, Frauenhygieneartikel sowie einigen Mappen und zwei Blöcke gepackt. Alles hat gut hinein gepasst - durch die vielen Verstauungsmöglichkeiten kann man hier perfekte Ordnung schaffen - und ich konnte die Tasche trotzdem noch gut tragen. Werde mir zusätzlich noch eine kleine Wasserflasche dazu kaufen, die sollte dann auch noch hineinpassen. Ein Leitzordner hat gerade noch reingepasst, allerdings ging dann der Reißverschluss nicht mehr zu. Trotzdem bietet die Tasche insgesamt genug Platz für allerlei notwendigen Schreibkram.Ich hätte es jedoch gut gefunden, wenn der Tasche ein passendes Schulterpolster beiliegen würde, da sie schon schwer und damit unbequem werden kann - vor allem, da der Schultergurt recht schmal ist. So muss man sich schon ein seperates Polster anschaffen, welches an nicht entfernbare Gurte passt (so eines ist nebenbei erwähnt gar nicht so leicht zu finden).Des Weiteren wären vielleicht Metallfüße am Boden ganz gut gewesen, um den Taschenboden zu schützen.Erwähnenswert finde ich auch noch, dass mir der Verkäufer extra noch nach meinem Kauf eine nette (persönliche!) Dankes-Email gesendet hat sowie einen Geschenk-Gutschein für einen Bestellservice - klasse! Ich werde bei Gelegenheit wieder bei diesem Hersteller bestellen!Ich bin mit diesem Produkt bisher sehr zufrieden. Bin schon gespannt, wie sich die Tasche im Alltag schlagen wird, da bin ich aber zuversichtlich, dass sie ihre Arbeit gut machen wird.Deshalb kann ich diese Tasche auch vollstens empfehlen, ich wurde sogar schon positiv auf diese angesprochen.Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut, da man hier ein sehr hochwertiges Produkt erhält; ich muss aber gestehen, dass ich keine vergleichbare Alternative habe.Kurz um: KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!Ich werde diese Rezension bei erwähnenswerten Neuigkeiten erweitern.Danke an Amazon für die sehr schnelle Lieferung (zwei Werktage)!Ach ja:Falls ein Mitarbeiter von Leabags diese Rezension lesen sollte, so hätte ich einen kleinen Vorschlag: Ihr solltet auf jeden Fall zu Euren Taschen noch passende Federmappen oder Schlampermäppchen entwickeln! Diese würde ich - und mit Sicherheit auch viele andere Kunden - sofort bestellen!

The short: Exceptional quality all leather bag with amazing customer service. The long: I wanted to buy my first "real" bag; something that was leather, high quality and wouldn't cost too much. After looking through the multitudes of bags listed on Amazon this particular bag caught my eye. I actually was at first considering a different bag of this brand because it had some reviews and they were all five stars. This bag didn't have any reviews at the time and I thought that it would probably be of the same quality as the one with reviews. I wasn't wrong. The leather is nice and thick but refined. Fit's my 15" laptop (16:9 wide screen) perfectly along with text books. Great for the office I work at and equally perfect for a college student. I have gotten many complements on this bag, many thought this bad cost a lot more.The customer service from this company was simply fantastic. The bag I bought unfortunately had a manufacturing flaw that resulted in the part that holds the strap in breaking. When I contacted the manufacturer and showed them a picture of the break they responded within the same day and apologized for the bag breaking. By the next day they offered to send me a replacement bag and two days later the new bag showed up at my house. By email they treated me as an individual and took personal responsibility for the bag breaking. They were courteous and very timely in responding to emails. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a high quality bag at a reasonable price.

I was looking for a work briefcase that would be professional enough to take to a meeting, but not stuffy looking. Many of the "business" bags are cheap composite leather that they lacquer to heck and back and sell for a lot of money. The first thing I noticed about this bag is the beautiful quality of the leather. It is exceptional. Unsurprisingly, the quality of the bag itself is right inline with the quality of leather. The interior is well made and at first I wished the interior was leather, but after a couple months use now the fabric interior is great for sliding my laptop and papers in and out.This bag is perfect for work. It fits my laptop and anything else I might need. It can grow to accommodate a large stack of papers and chords, but when it's just my laptop, it collapses down to a very nice and manageable size.Lastly, I had a minor issue with the strap on my bag. I had assumed it was the usual wear and tear, as I use it every day. I was hoping to simply order another strap when I couldn't find one with matching leather. I wrote Leabags, and they refused to let me pay for a new strap, they would replace the whole bag! Within 2 days the new strap and bag arrived here in the state. It was the best customer service I have ever received. They were extremely friendly, and truly stand behind their brand name.I will by Leabags for a long time to come. Great company!

Beautiful bag, well constructed. Buying another as a gift!

EDIT 20 OCT, 2016Leabags contacted me to inform me that they had addressed the quality issues I had described. They sent me a replacement bag for me to review. Leabags did not even ask me to edit my review, this is my unbiased opinion.I have been testing the new bag for a month. I do not have the first bag to compare to but the quality seems to be there, no faulty stitching and no signs of early wear and tear. I contacted Leabags again to enquire about the shoulder strap buckle. In my case it broke on both ends where the buckle was attached to the bag, as this was only held with leather. I cannot asses if this has been addressed without damaging the bag, but they have assured me that this has been reinforced with a nylon strip, same as was already the case with the shoulder strap. I am satisfied.The bag continues to have the great looks I am so keen on and I have to say that twice, a random person has approached me just to say how cool my vintage bag is and ask where I got it from.My only word of warning is, do not wear it with light colour clothes for the first weeks, as the shoulder strap will stain a white shirt on the shoulder or white trousers where it rubs.EDIT 16 MAY, 2016After half a year of use I am saddened to return this item and downrate from 5 to 2 stars. It is a beautiful bag and I have been complemented by strangers on how nice it looks. Sadly the built quality is not durable. I have had the main strap breaking from both sides, the closing buckle come off, the stitching of the inner closing Velcro come off, and the back zipper puller tag also come come off. I got a replacement after the main strap broke and after losing the closing buckle I decided to give this up. I do hope that Leabags improves the durability of this bag because it is nicely designed except for this point. I have also received excellent support from Amazon for the replacement and refund.ORIGINAL REVIEWI have been using the bag for a month and I am very happy with it. The leather quality is good, I love the worn feel to it. Should you scratch or stain the leather it will hardly be noticeable. I was concerned with the small width of the shoulder strap but since the bag is not very big, the weight cannot be excessive, so it works well.I did not like the warning sign that the leather treatment may stain your clothes initially. It has not happened but what is a customer to do "initially", not use it? Go to work with your old pyjamas that you do not mind getting stained?The only downside for me to the bag is that you cannot attach it to the handles of a trolley when travelling. I had a tailor do this for me by communicating together the 2 outer pockets, so that when the back zip is undone, I can pass the strip of leather through the handles of my trolley, making it a great travel companion.I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to other people.
