I bought this to make my Versys 300 a little more Highway friendly, and it works great for that, but be forewarned - If you want to change the Final drive output ratio on your Kawsaki Versys like I did, the Check Engine light will come on after 200 miles or so. The ECM gets confused by the lower engine RPM and higher MPH reading, and will think the Gear indicator sensor is shot when It's not. If this happens to you, DON'T PANIC and start pulling it apart and changing parts or rewiring anything. It takes the ECM about 500 miles to "learn" the new RPM/MPH ratios, then the engine light will go out and everything will go back to normal.So just keep riding, and ignore the Check Engine light until it goes out again.

Purchased this for my 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. Stock sprocket had a 45 tooth and was looking to drop the cruising RPM's but not to loose to much torque. This did just that! I was extremely surprised as to how light this sprocket was compared to the stock sprocket! I swear I dropped a few pounds off the bike, I love the black color and design on this, made the back half of the bike look 10 times better. The sprocket is a lot more "Black" in person than in the photo which was a plus for me. Overall I have about 400 miles on this sprocket and am loving it!
