Better than expected. I needed an extra battery, figured 2 more wouldn’t hurt due to the excellent price. I’ve used both a few times with no issues.

This is a convenient battery charger and carry case. Two extra batteries with a USB-C charge port. When I put one spent battery in with one fully charged battery still in it and plugged it in, the charger seemed to prioritize charging the spent battery. All good.

I decided to try these Powerextra batteries with charging case for the Osmo Action 4 after years of using cradle-type chargers with my older GoPros, some of which were not very good at keeping batteries in place while charging. The Powerextra batteries are well-made and even the label deserves a mention: I've used third-party batteries with labels so poor that they end up pulling up and make the batteries tricky to install, but these still look as good as my OEM battery after almost five months of use. I did not do any controlled testing to verify the (slightly higher) claimed capacity of these batteries, but during real-world use, their longevity seems to be on par with the OEM.The battery charger/case did, in fact, turn out to be more reliable for me than cradle-type chargers; the batteries fit into their charging slots with a little bit of friction, which keeps them firmly connected while charging at home. However, I did notice that if I purposely shake the case while the batteries are inside, they can come loose because there is a bit of extra room on the lid -- this will never be a problem when stationary, but I'll be adding some foam to the inside of the lid if I ever need to charge on the move. In between uses, I've noticed that even after a couple of weeks the case does not cause a power drain on the batteries when it's not connected to power -- this makes it a viable option for storage and transport. Good kit. Recommended.

Just okay. Batteries have to be inserted just right or they won’t stay charging. In the car, the batteries will stop charging because they vibrate loose. Stick with the official charger.

So I just got an Osmo Action 5 Pro and decided to go with one of these less expensive 3rd party equivalent battery sets from the Osmo Action 4.The assumption was that because every reviewer on Youtube has stated that the batteries between the Osmo Action 4 and Osmo Action 5 Pro are interchangeable, it wouldn't be an issue. These have slightly less capacity at 1850 mAh vs the 1950 mAh of the OEM battery. This is despite the description of these not mentioning anything around being compatible with the Osmo Action 5 Pro but again I was basing my assumption on both what I've seen and what I've read from various users and reviewers across the internet.Well, I'm happy to say that these do power my Osmo Action 5 Pro. The odd thing that I did notice is that the battery and percentage indicator that you normally would see on the screen does not appear. In it's place is a symbol that appears to look like a charging symbol. I tried tapping on it with no effect and switched from these batteries to the OEM battery and nothing really changes. As far as functionality of the camera when using one of these batteries? Seems to work fine as far as I can tell. I suppose there could be some differences, I just haven't found any yet.It could be that, similar to DJI drone batteries, there is some sort of software baked into these batteries that affect their functionality and that's why 3rd party batteries do not properly display battery life on the screen. This simply means you won't be able to tell how much battery life is left at any given time. You'll just have to improvise and try to keep track of how long you've used that particular battery. Am inconvenience for sure but if you carry around a few fully charged ones then it shouldn't really matter much as you can just switch on a dime. The batteries themselves look and feel identical to the original and slip in and out of the camera with no noticeable difference at all.The charging box is pretty solid and the lid when opening and closing doesn't feel flimsy. In fact when closing it actually clicks into place so you know it is secure.Charging is thru a single USB-C port and functionality is simple. There are two lights that start off red when charging batteries and turn green once charging is complete. At $28 you get a battery charging case, 2 batteries, and a cable. All that for a few dollars less than one original OEM battery. The way I see it is that as long as these 3rd party batteries work and your camera functions as normal then it's a no brainer if you want to save money. An outstanding set of inexpensive batteries with charger that are a fraction of the cost of OEM batteries. I have no doubt these work perfectly fine for the Osmo Action 4 but I can also say that these do work for the Osmo Action 5 Pro with the caveats I mentioned above. The description does not reference the Osmo Action 5 Pro at all so I can't knock them at all for the caveats as it isn't meant to be for the OA5 but rather for the OA4
