This monopod is a bit on the heavy side, but you will appreciate its sturdiness when you are out shooting with those long, heavier lenses.

This monopod feels durable and provides some excellent stabilization for my camerawork. I do a lot of run and gun shooting for live events, and this has been such a game changer. The pop out feet are a useful touch.

This tripod folds down to about 18 inches. It is great for travel as I have a fair amount of gear to carry. One leg of the tripod can be removed to become a monopod will be very useful for travel as I have a 400-600 mm zoom. There is also an attachment for cell phones.

The NEEWER Professional Camera Monopod with Feet is exactly what I needed for event photography.It is a sturdy, well-built piece of equipment. It enables me to take sharp photos in low-light situations where flash is not allowed.The feet provide added stability to the camera.The monopod is lightweight and easy to transport. It's very easy to set up and take down. It extends up to 70 inches which makes for comfortable shooting. It also has removable sections which allow it to be used tabletop.The monopod is a great addition to my photography toolbag. It's very reasonably priced. A must-have for both professional and amateur photographers alike!

I have outfitted my Panasonic S5iiX with ALL accessories from Neewer because their quality is top notch and they are better priced than the other popular brand accessories. This monopod is no exception. It’s extremely versatile, light weight, sturdy, and provides good stability. It’s easy to use and figure out right out of the box. I love being able to attach my camera rig by just dropping the plate it from the top, whereas my Sachtler tripod has to be slid in from the back. I bought this for run and gun shooting so I wouldn’t always have to lug around a tripod, and I’m very happy with the purchase. I bought mine used-like new condition but unfortunately it was missing the mounting plate. Luckily my Sachtler plate is an exact match so I didn’t bother to do a return, I’ll just buy another plate at some point in the future. Not having to take the plate off my rig when switching between this and my tripod is a huge convenience. I put my camera rig on this, locked down all the adjustment points and made sure it was level, and with the feet out it held my camera up just fine. I wouldn’t walk away from it on a windy day, but it’s one feature that speaks volumes to the quality of this monopod. The head is smooth on pan and tilt, and while I wouldn’t use it in place of my Sachtler head if the shot needs a cinematic pan/tilt, I will be able to use it for run and gun situations. You can even use just the feet and the head for a table-top or floor shot.

Right out if the package I was impressed with the sturdiness and quality of the materials used to construct this. The fact that it condenses so small and comes with a carrying bag makes this really easy to take between locations. It has a sleek design plus all of the functions and features that I needed, and then some. It’s a little on the heavier side where monopods are concerned, but unless you’re hiking deep into the wilderness to shoot, it’s not cumbersome. I love the included tripod feature and find myself using it a lot. I’m also constantly adjusting the height which is very simple with the quick snap releases. Paired with a gimbal, this has really increased the quality of my videos. Neweer has definitely upped their game in recent years and now seem to be making affordable equipment that performs nearly as well as some of the pricier gear.
