I'm 12 years post-mastectomy and have been searching for a soft sports bra with lots of support. This bra fits the bill! The zip front can be tricky but the hook/eye is strategically place to hold both sides together while zipping. I can also leave it zipped and pull it off and on over my head. I like that it is soft on the sides and doesn't irritate my scar. It also doesn't ride up. This will be a great everyday bra and I plan to order in other colors. Winner!

Already frustrated that I could not find a bra for mastectomy breast cancer patients. I was completely frustrated. I was introduced to this bra through a local boutique and purchased two of them. After realizing there comfort and excellent fit, I ordered every color I could find online. I recommend this bra for any cancer patient going through reconstructive surgery. THE BEST!

There's a lot to love about this bra, and I've worn it for many weeks in a row, 24/7. I purchased more than a dozen bras to compare for post-biopsy (wish I'd had this one then!) and post-lumpectomy support.SIZE AND FIT- I'm a 36B and size SM per the size chart was way too tight for me across the bottom band. The MED offered great compression and was comfortable to breathe in, but the fabric was looser above the zipper where tissue/fluid compression should be happening above the breasts. I wish the fit was better but nevertheless chose to keep the MED knowing that I needed to wear this 24/7 after surgery, and being able to breathe is important :). This was otherwise the best design of all bras I purchased. Also, I looooove that this bra comes up higher under the arms and unless your surgeon puts an incision right where the cup pocket is (you won't know til after your surgery), there's nothing about this bra that will rub.FABRIC- The fabric is a lovely, tight but stretchy tech weave that's very soft. Nothing irritating about it, though using thick gauze on top of your dressing provides another buffer in case something brushes up against you. The weave and substantive compression is going to keep you from jiggling around when moving which reduces discomfort. It also keeps the tissue that was cut compressed so that it can heal faster! The blush pink (pinker than beige) is as depicted onscreen. I purchased a very similar bra from another brand at Amazon whose pale pink was actually orange sorbet colored in person. The tags on this says OEKO-TEK which is important because it's free of hundreds of harmful substances- most fabric does not have this distinction, so I was happy to see it. Nevertheless the removable thin cups are made of polyurethane foam (and smelled faintly of it before washing), which is not the best health-wise. While the foam padding does not feel good early in recovery I appreciate them being included for definition. It's nice to know that if you need to be on a video call, you have the cups for modesty and definition. Without them it's not total uni-boob but you will look compressed about a cup size- you need that for healing.DESIGN- You're going to want the front closure because your arm will initially be less mobile than normal. Moving more than you need to just increases any discomfort. The pockets for foam cups are accessible near armpits, and can hold small ice packs. For me the compression of the bra was so helpful that I didn't want to be unzipping and messing around with putting ice inside during the first two weeks. The ruching in the front of the bra is hidden if you're wearing button-ups and loose sweaters, but you can see it and the zipper through cotton shirts, and it will leave "whisker" marks on your breasts. I would have preferred no ruching. Something that was very helpful though was that the straps were adjustable from the back. It requires taking off to adjust but you're going to want to make these looser if you sleep in the bra and I didn't like the designs with adjustments over your collar bone which rubs.(NOT) MOISTURE WICKINGAfter surgery you may be sweating more. And you will be told not to wear deodorant. And you need to be in a bra 24/7. The one thing I absolutely hated about this bra is that I reeked in it. Initially I thought I must have been sweating out anesthesia but no matter how many times I washed it, within 24 hours my sweat smelled awful. When I told my surgeon she wasn't sure what was going on. Two weeks after surgery I changed to the Fruit of the Loom all cotton Front Close Sports bra when less compression was necessary. And immediately realized it was the Anita Lynn bra. The polyamide which is so great for compression is just not breathable. I'm telling you in case you have the same experience.HEALINGThis bra provided the best comfort and compression of 12+ bras I tried, including the seam-a-palooza bra the hospital had me wear home. It is the best of the best for post-surgery. I am certain the compression it provided aided in my healing, especially because I was stitched instead of itchy Steristrips. I needed a bra that kept the incision area tight and this worked beautifully. Surgeon was very happy with how the incision was healing and looked cosmetically...If you're on the fence, buy it in 2 sizes to figure out which works for you. It was worth every penny. But maybe have a 2nd bra to alternate with so that this can be washed often.

The material is soft but the straps were too loose so it didn’t provide the compression I needed. However, I may fit better on someone with broader shoulders and chest.

After breast cancer surgery, this was the best bra I found for comfort, ease of use and support. I will likely continue to wear this bra for quite sometime because of it's softness and excellent fit.

If you get the front zip bra let me give you a little hint to make it easier to put on. If you have any lymph nodes removed, you’re likely to be sore under your armpit and have difficulty raising your arm. Be sure to clasp the bra before trying to zip it. It’s much easier to zip once the claps are in place.Yes, I would purchase again.

I had mastectomy and then implants and this bra is supportive super soft for day and night wear I also love the pink lotus color option. I’m very pleased and it came same day delivery. I think I’m about a sz 34B or C now and the medium feels like it was made for me

Although this bra is very soft on the skin, it provides the compression I needed after a partial mastectomy. I like the hook to help hold it closed while getting it zipped up. The removable pads are a nice feature and I like the wide straps that don’t cut into my shoulders due to wearing the bra both day and night.

These are beautiful. Very soft fabric. Just not the right fix for me. I have a very big belly and it was too tight across my mid-section.

I’ve owned this bra for about a year and it is probably still my favourite. At some point I removed the zip, sewed it up and now pull it on over my head. This makes it even more body-hugging and soft.
