The deutsch connector kit, model DW5008-01, by JRready / JRDtools is made in PRC (china). The crimp tool (ACT-HDT-16DT) does a good job with the included pins. The plastic connectors work well and hold the pins, but don't hold the gasket to well. This kit handles 16 to 20 gauge wire. This has been a good set so far, but could benefit from better components with the connector.4 stars

Tool and the rest of the kit is good quality. Happy with my purchase. The case it came in however isn't as pictured on the ad. Very cheap, I immediately went an bought a better higher quality case.

I like this standard of connector and crimping but maybe because this is a knock off the external gaskets used when mating connectors always falls off when disconnecting the connectors so 4 star vs 5 (maybe even 3 star, its a real pain fishing the gasket from the engine bay).

Now that I am using more of these Deutsch connectors, I wanted a bigger kit and for larger wires.

Easy to use, solid connectors are a bit overkill for my use, but can't complain. My one and only pet peeve is that things could fit better in the included case

I ordered this product to complement my existing set of Deutsch DT connectors, and more importantly, to replace my inexpensive crimper. This set delivered on both of those, with high quality connectors and an easy to use 4 crimp handle with adjustable depth/gauge settings.Customer service was great when I asked questions about the crimper (I expected it to come with all 3 depth gauges - it does not) and even sent me the additional depth gauges via air mail within a week!
