We made cedarshutters from scratch and needed a decorative finish to make the look. These decorative nails were perfect. We did predrilled holes as recommended in other reviews and used a rubber mallet to hammer them in. We did have one break ONLY because we had to remove it to make an adjustment to the shutter itself. It was not user error not on the product. They are very well made. We like the hammered head look and the mate finish is nice as well. We would recommend this product and seller.

Good product. Make sure you drill a pilot hole so you can push it in easier. Almost broke one trying to force it through the wood.

Absolutely made the door! These were very easy to install. You dont have to worry about marring them as you hammer, but I did use a ruvber mallot. They made me look like a pro. Couldn't be happier. When people ask what they are you can explain these are used in countries where they use elephants to work. They become so attached to their humans that they try to push the door open with their heads. These hurt the elephants head, so they can't get into the house. I can attest that they do work. I have not had 1 elephant get into the guest part of my house! Well, except my mother in law, but that is another story all together!

Very well made and easy to install. I used a 1/16" drill bit. Then added clear caulking on the tip of the nail and pushed them in. Door looks awesome.
