Fastening to a side wall or a panel, our mirror uses only three inches of horizontal storage space, about the same as a stowed ironing board tucked away. When needed, pull out on full-extension, soft-close ball-bearing slides and then swivel ninety degrees to face you. When you are finished viewing, simply pivot it back and give it a nudge to return it to its hiding place. This is a great mirror and just what I needed for a small walk-in closet project. But when the box arrived it was in really rough shape and smelled like mold. Something sounded loose in the box. When I opened it, I found the mirror was not attached to the frame. I don't know how it arrived unbroken but I'm thankful this should be a minor fix but I'll need figure out the best glue to use and buy it.
