Product does not do much for sound deadening. easy to apply, but disappointed in performance of it.

Just peel and stick and get sound deadening and a little bit of temperature insulation? Works for me! Using in my Ford Transit conversion.

I would have given this five stars, but there is some lifting on some of the corners. I am not overly concerned as they are covered by the carpet in my vehicle. These applied easily and do afford a level of sound deadening.

I used this as a patch for laminate floor underlayment in my house. Thickness is great, and it will not rot if it gets wet, as the old stuff did. It is also very sticky, so it stays where you put it.

This was very easy to apply to the metal body of the vehicle with proper cleaning, is adjustable and seems to be quite good at deadening the sound.

Easy to install. I installed it on top of kilmat on the ceiling of my gmc savanna. The day after I put it on I slept in the van. When I awoke I asked my daughter if it rained last night. She said it was intense rain and wind. I never heard a thing, slept through the whole storm. The combination of these two sound deadening together can’t be beat. Totally recommend.

Had to remove a bunch of sound insulation from an early model car that still had mineral wool in it that became soaked with water do to a window leak. After removing the carpeting, drying out the area and stripping out all the old "wool" type insulation, I cut and applied this product. It was easy to do and the thin dense foam pad replaced the 1/2" "wool" old insulation with better sound dampening —plus if it gets wet, it is unlikely to trap and promote mould and bacterial growth notorious for the "smell" of a previously damp floor pan.

But... But... If you want the Siless Liner Sound Deadening Mat to really help you take it up a few notches, to get the best sound almost bordering on soundproofing, listen up.You will have to install traditional butyl rubber first. Doesn't have to be the Siless brand, but I'm sure they would love to sell both to you, I used both Killmat (80mil) and Noico (50mil).I have a Honda S2000. It's a two-seater convertible sports car if you don't know what this car is, and it's loud when I'm driving above 60mph. I also happen to have a sound system installed as well. Other than that, the car is stock. I first installed the butyl rubber on the car's interior sheet metal. I went all out and covered everything I could. I didn't need to but I wanted to. I was extremely impressed with the results. But I wanted to go further.
