Vet school vet said that this is one of the few supplements with scientific proven results. That said, it did not help my horse’s particular issues. You may have better luck with other issues.

3/4 of the container's contents were spilled into the shipping box, and part of that was pulverized into powder. I like the product, but order this direct from the manufacturer, and hopefully the do a good job of packing, because Amazon FAILS. And Amazon's answer so far is that I tote this to a store and ship to them for a refund. What a waste of time and fuel.

I love this supplement but container needs to be sturdier. There have been multiple occasions where the lid has broken off during shipping and the contents spill everywhere and through the cracks in the shipping box. Amazon always ships me another but someone has to be losing money on all this lost supplement. I switched from powder to pellets hoping this wouldn't happen but it still does.That being said I put my older horse on this every fall/winter and it really helps with his stiffness

As an equine veterinarian, board certified in both surgery and sports medicine, I can say there are only 2 supplements I recommend. This and Cosequin ASU.

I’ve been very pleased by the Equithrive Joint Supplement powder I’ve used for a couple of years now, the initial improvement was impressive. These pellets are even more effective, with my horse showing additional improvement after the first month. His hocks don’t seem to be bothering him at all, and we’ve dealt with some form of arthritis for the last 16 years or so. The farrier also noticed how much more comfortable he is behind. I’m grateful for the added longevity I feel this product has given us.
