The steel brace design supports the sector shaft in the steering gear, eliminating the side-play that creates premature failure—and steering that seems to wander driving down the road. The powdercoated stabilizer braces also tie the frame horns together to help prevent frame flex. Our steering stabilizers are easy to install, usually in less than an hour.

well got in the mail and laid everything out to install it, the brace its self is good and strong, but the hardware looks like someone just grabbed a hand full of misc nuts and bolts and washers and crap and tossed them into a bag, lock washers and regular washers were all misc sizes which none fit, and every bolt was a different length

Outstanding product, this should be on all trucks that see heavy use. It took less than an hour to install it would had been easier with two people though. I highly recommend this product.
